Not all those who wander are lost

I recently returned from a 2 week long road trip around the beautiful country that I now call home.
About 2 and a half years ago I made the move from Canada to New Zealand with just a backpack, and have been here ever since.

And while I do miss Canada, I have to say that New Zealand has to be one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen; everywhere you look you are met with postcard-esque views and landscapes.

I'd like to share with you guys just a few of the shots I've taken while out exploring Aotearoa.


Most prominent in New Zealand are the over 50 volcanoes that are scattered over the North and South Islands, which make for some very scenic hikes:










But there is more to New Zealand than just beautiful mountains!
While the ratio has fallen in recent years, estimates have it that there is about 7 sheep for every person in the country:



And their equally delicious cousins:




The Lord Of The Rings has done a lot to put NZ in the spotlight, but even movie sets and iconic landscapes aside, there is so much beauty around every turn of the roa😛
