Not About Party Politics [Wes4CWPP]
Wes Lewis
Fellow Canadians and especially members of Clan Wolf, I am writing to you today to declare my candidacy to become Party President of Clan Wolf.
I have long been absent from eRepublik, instead focusing my time on school and for awhile, serving as a GO on e-Sim Suna. However, these are times of change for eRepublik and especially Canada as resources have been shuffled and new features are near being implemented that will drastically alter the politics of this game.
These changes I theorize will warrant extraordinary adaptation from the weaker parties to maintain an effective capacity. This is a matter more relevant to Clan Wolf than any other party in Canada as its 5th placed rank makes it extremely vulnerable to displacement. Which is especially true when coupled with a rising/revived DAL lead by some of the hardest working leaders of my generation of player, Clan Wolf could very easily fade to obscurity.
These matters will require leadership that sees above themselves and realizes the bigger picture for their parties future, which I fear the other candidate will fail to provide when the time comes. For that reason I have decided to throw my hat into the ring and attempt to change the tide and legacy that Clan Wolf has had forced into through certain antics and an amazing ability to alienate one's self among other political groups.
Pretending to harden a stance might work for the King of Jordan, but not so much throughout a certain wolf's career
That said, I will release an article the night before the race explaining my plans for the party, although unlike other candidates, I feel changes are best made in conjunction with how we do business on a national level and most importantly the people put forward to serve as representatives of the Clan.
Thank you,
Wes

Language is the wings of thought. You write an awfully lot better today than you did all those years ago, leading me to suspect you think differently. Welcome.

CW was just reformed, at least give it a month before you try to change the starting system.
Reform requires fundamental shifts in either leadership or ideology, I have seen neither of those things?
Zianni is pointing out that we actually just did reform last month. Currently we have only a small handful of 2 clickers and a very large sum of active players.
Also please note the changes we are heading towards in my articles for the last week.
I love that you are running and I want people to step up as you are but I also want to make sure people not running on misinformation.
We split the party into 2 a year ago. The Imperial Wolves is the new party that evolved from the old Clan Wolf. Those that liked the new system moved there. THe ones that craved and wanted the old system helped me to create, shape and form the new Clan Wolf.
I know you want to change things but we JUST made this party with the sole purpose of remaking and maintaining the old system.
Hope this shines a little bit of light on things.
Understandable, but the old wolves are near a threshold of dropping out of the Top 5, which will make any changes irrelevant in the long term as you will have miniscule influence at the behest of another party.
"these are times of change for eRepublik" How so? Nothing has changed for years unless by "change" you mean that it sucks more and is driving new players away even faster than ever before. However, that's positive change we can all agree on.
A skill Plato is incredibly good at.. Killing their own game lol
They are about to implement new forms of government such as dictatorship and 5 or so more medals to earn among other things, which I consider a huge update considering it has implications across the board.
and 0 f's were given.
Wes's latest attempt to worm his way back into a position of power to cash in on something in the future
I see your life is still sad as ever, I am glad!
