NE Spain? I dont see any talk on the forums of this? How did it pass?

I am not going to start complaining about how what seems to be a very risky illegal vote came into play 2 days before congress elections that would shift focus onto us and potentially remind espain that we have land.
What i do want to know though is where the talks are about this NE and what the thoughts behind it were?
Looking around the forums and Homers news feeds all I found was a short blip stating he is surprised that we were not NE'd back.
There was not a single whisper that I could find on the eCan forums..

Leadership of this country. Please keep us the people in the loop on things and let us know why such massive decisions are being made so that we can be there and support them or at least understand the rational behind them.

The Executive reserves the right to Executive Order. Decisions for insuring a congress are usually immediate and situational. It's not considered illegal.
Furthermore, I was under the impression that congress had a group PM going this term. Anything said in that group PM would be considered leaking "CDC" information. You, as a PP, are entitled to be informed by your members if you so wish.
Did you ask them?
I think Clausru's statement bellow is dead on. It is not the NE itself that I dont really get it is how the ratio is.. showing it was not planned and barely passed and how no one talked about it after it happened or gave reason for it.
As I said in the article. i understand if its hush hush but still. There should be some logic somewhere for us to read.

The idea on first was right because all had the fear that Spain did NE to eCanada when we liberate Yukon! Capitans and Commanders of MUs know this and they try to write PMs in Party but there was some congressmen that don't read... All we asked to hold the vote but all congressmen click yes. When they see NE Spain all are angry and they do without to think... 😛 The war is possibly to win with diplomacy 🙂 The story teaches 😛
Now we have the hope that Spain have other focus in this moment because they asked impachment of CP and they no NE to eCanada 🙂
However I think that PMs with congressmen in this moment when eCanada has problems to liberate territory is good way as PMs between PPs and between MUs as we did!

Congress had no direction and decided to vote yes on the NE despite no NE from Spain, hell if I know why.

Yeah, I found the proposal surprising and just hoped that somebody somewhere knew what they were doing. Looks funny if we blocked an attack that was never coming and just re-opened the war anyhow.
It has always been the purview of the executive to direct war time strategy without having debates in congress that are unrealistic given time issues
There is a congressional PM that is being used but most if not all discussion there would be in CDC anyway.

Oinyo as PP can ask for CDC access and be "in the loop" whether this means he is also given access to the congress PM thread is anyones guess and why I dont like any debate or discussion going on in the Congress thread, it should only be used for vote and debate alerts

Strategy doesn't mix well with Congress sometimes. Look at it in a positive way, they trust Homer deeply and will vote yes to whatever he proposes.
I hate it when the people you're supposed to be governing don't agree with you... yeah Tyranny is so much better 😛
then lets stop fighting for a Congress....the exec would be much better off
On the bright side, having the NE in place gives us new ways to get waxed in battle. Let's keep up the tough talk.
I dunno Homers ending article was all about how he keeps asks eCanadians their opinions, but ya, this time no address... there is a point about NE'ing Spain close to elections.... I find everyone just sides with the prez anyway no matter what 😛 Homers all like, aww we didn't get congress, and everyones like, you did great! and Dictatorships are cool too, so I'm glad to see people who point out prez actions they think are questionable.. 😛
I keep seeing the same battle messages made long ago stating everyone should sell their Q6 and below and buy only Q7s which makes me wonder if these people writing the articles understand the economy at all 😕
