My thanks and now to work...

Day 676, 10:42 Published in Ireland Japan by Donovan Thomas
My Thanks
I would like to express my gratitude to all those who voted for me yesterday especially those who crossed party lines to vote and those from other regions who regardless of party affiliation sent their regards and encouragement. I would also like to thank the numerous Congresspersons who have contacted me in regards to developing measures together and building non-partisan consensus. Congratulations to all on an honorable race.

Now, to work
As promised in my Pledgifesto I have set up a thread in the 'Hawk and Dove' area of the National Forum entitled Dublin Constituency Thread to give the people of Dublin a direct line to their elected representatives. I urge the people of Dublin to use this tool and request that my fellow TD's from Dublin also visit to maintain relevancy and connection to their constituents.

The URL for the thread is here

I will be creating a Google doc that I will link to my future TD articles tracking my voting history and comments in the Public Dáil. For the moment I shall list current history here.

Day One

-Signed the Dáil attendance record

-Voted yes on a proposed donation to Banc Ceannais (43G)

-Voted yes to institute Revisions to the Constitution

-Indicated my support of an Alliance of Neutral States

-Made inquiries as to wording in the Raleigh Treaty

-Indicated support of creation of a Deputy Minister of Trade to facilitate "off market" purchases and sales

In closing I would like to again express my sincere thanks. I am honored to be chosen to represent you with such a resounding show of support and look forward to working with all who love eIreland. I shall re-commit myself to eIreland through action and example and am standing by to take your voice to the Dáil.

Very Respectfully,

Colonel Donovan Thomas
