My Candidacy for the eIrish Dáil
Colin Fox
April 21st, 2014 (Day 2,344)
Sir Colin Fox
Good evening my eIrish comrades! I have been greeted with kindness and fairness by the vast majority of eIrish citizenry and I would like to thank you all for introducing yourselves. Now for some business.
From what I have noticed is that many do not write congressional campaign articles and perhaps this is because generally it is the same people running each month, collecting gold, and participating minimally in PM's. I do not know if this is the case in eIreland but in other eNations it seems to be.
With this in mind I can promise you: I will be very active! I won't be on 24/7, but I do check eRepublik at least twice a day.
I will also communicate actively with various congress members and do my best to cooperate and work towards the betterment of the nation and NOT for only my party!
Unfortunately because I am new I cannot promise that I will do any proposals or be able to work with prior information and knowledge. I will be conservative in expressing my ideas until I can get a better grasp on eIrish society and politics.
I hope I can count on you voting for the Independent Labour Party this election because when you vote ILP, you vote for me!
😉
Your's Truly,
Colin Fox

Good luck with your candidacy. Since elections are now controlled by party and not voting for a person, there is not a lot of reason for a candidate article anymore. It's not a bad idea as a way to introduce yourself, tho.
Thanks for the advice! Do parties tend to write articles introducing their candidates?
Some do. You might want to get with the spokesman for your party and ask if they plan one. Volunteer to write it if they don't.
Nice, Hope to see you in Congress mate
Good luck in the elections, comrade. It will be good to have more active Dail members.
You'll need to re-candidate as it looks like the system has deleted the applications of several people, including yourself. eRebuglic strikes again.
