Day 1010:

Reached into the fridge this morning. I'd already locked and loaded, cleaned the Frenchy blood from various weapons etc and was ready to roll out and start wasting tanks, but I was parched. It was early and I hadn't had a proper breakfast so I thought a beer would fit the bill. Filled my fist from the bottom drawer, popped the cap with my K-bar, took swig and promptly spit it out...



I should have known when I didn't hear the Widget fire that I've been fighting in Canada for too damn long... Oh how I long to shoot some Phoenix punks with my gorgeous stout close at hand... but alas, all I here is "Ready to go eh?"


*SIGH*

I love the Canucks... love 'em like I love gunpowder and a good single malt... but dammit man... These hills here aren't the right kind of green and the girls, well... the girls are so... not Irish...

All I want is to see eBrit blood in The Shannon again and here that gorgeous melody of Irish in my ears while my rifle spits righteous vengeance upon supplicant slaves of The Crown...

Dáil Éireann

All I can say is wow... and damn. Lot's of Old faces who assumed a great deal got dealt nothing (The Chief says, you get what you Inspect, not what you Expect!). A lot of new faces who tried real hard (and some who didn't try so hard) squeaked in under the radar to grab the gold... And many of the consistently dedicated received their due as well... Congratulations!

Fact is, a lot of people are watching... Paschoall saved me a lot of work by already assuming head watch dog position... (this guy is growing on me). But given the fact that I'm holding no position other that the so far redundant Field Commander, I'll be watching too... (Gratz to Moo, BTW for overtaking me as Top Gun, though I would ask you to check the stats tomorrow, Nice fights man!)

And given my rebirth as The Conscience of Éire, be sure I'll call out the Kettle though my Pot may be what it is... (This means you fresh and ripe TD's!)
