But aren't integers real numbers?

Well I suppose you're right.Integers are a subset of Real numbers.But what is meant is probably that "God" is a whole number and without fractions.A real number can have fractions liked 2 1/2 (or 2.5).So God is an integer in that sense...But you didn't have to ruin the joke...! 😛
