Ministry of Foreign Affairs [MoFA]: North Sea Protection Pact (NSPP)

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

We, the Foreign Affairs team, have decided to interview the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the USA and of the NSPP countries, there are few aspects we have put in our interviews:

- The war where we are currently in.
- The relation between the country we are interviewing and our country.

Although not all articles are equally divided, some are mostly about the relation and some mostly about the war.

Today, we interview the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the Minister of Communication of Germany and the president of the United Kingdom (The British MoFA had private problems and due to that he couldn't answer). Unfortunately the Belgian President (Also the Belgian MoFA) hasn't answered yet.

Germany

1. What do you think of the current situation of the eNetherlands?
To be honest, im mostly not that well informed about the current situation in eNL. The flow of informations between our countries is something we could definitly improve. I think we lack of an ambassador or two 🙂
But what i see is a problem our both eCountries face: the lack of activity and motivitions from older eRep players. I often hear the phrase: "eRep gonna die anyway". And on the other hands: the lack of newbies that come into the game. They are often most motivated to do something like participating in politics or writing articles or whatever. Some people say "i wouldnt even suggest the game to a friend because it sucks!". Sure its also just the usuall silly season! Lets hope it gets better 😁

2. If you had to describe the eNetherlands in three words, which words would you use?
A leydens bruder. Which is a three languages clash! it refers to the point that we both have a treaty with poland.

3. Regarding the war between the NSPP and Asgard, overall how well do you think the war has been going thus far?
I think it was or still is, successful relating to the plan that germany assist UK along with NL against the rape of Assgard, Canada, Isreal & Co. We accomplished that surelly but actually i think there is nothing more to win than a trainwar. There was no plan to occupy them, atleast not from our side 😉. It was just a counterattack and i expect the war to end soon. Or we continue it as what it is or what it should be: a trainwar without other intensions than games for the crowds.

I think ther eGerman gouverment should take an example in your transparency and openness, im absolutly convinced that the gouverment of eNL dont have any other intensions that what is already written in this article. Transparency and openness was always a big point in german poltics. You never know whats the plan 😉

5. How is the NSPP doing at the moment according to you?
With the NSPP we are on a good way to become part of an "alliance" that have real bounds to each other like Asgard for example. There alliance is based on a real common ground rather than just strength and damage. That makes it more stable in my eyes. From a different point of view it was lucky the UK got attacked, the NSPP had there first common war, that brought us close together i think, but we should steady improve the cooperation. As far as i know there was just one common hit across the NSPP members. We should do that way more often.

6. How do you think the relationship between our nations will look like in the future?
I think bringing our countries closer together is one of the best thing the NSPP does. Especially In times when big alliance die and countries switch sides, you need real ties that come from the sympathy of the people rather than cold and calculating strategies of the elite. As small countries and origin neighbours we should group up to keep our borders calm and intact. We all have the same interest: beeing on the map, staying on the map, best within our origin territories or atleast with the sovereignty of them. If you ask me we should make NSPP a real alliance and even accept some more regional members. But im not the one who decides that.

7. Do you have anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands
It would be nice if we had a dutch ambassador in germark and of cause also vice versa. Maybe someone is interessted 🙂 And dont be to harsh to the norse, maybe we will need them 😁

Denmark

1. What do you think of the current situation of the eNetherlands?
We are glad to see your PTO sitsuation getting better and that you have managed to stabilize your country.

2. If you had to describe the eNetherlands in three words, which words would you use?
Small, Loyal and Honored

3. Regarding the war between the NSPP and Asgard, overall how well do you think the war has been going thus far?
I do feel proud that a country so similar (small and without an alliance) can go and have success like you on the battlefield. I feel like this is a shining example of a good teamwork between our dear allies.

War in overall has been great, it feels like we have really made a major dent in Asgard and many of the wounds have yet to shown, but we have crippled whole alliance’s teamwork.

I found the article to be a great fun 🙂 Governments should not forget to have fun at least few times a season, all work makes etc. etc.

5. How is the NSPP doing at the moment according to you?
Denmark is looking forwards having a bright and sunny sailing between us, we have been brothers and allies for a long time and I see nothing that could change that 🙂

6. How do you think the relationship between our nations will look like in the future?

7. Do you have anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
To all citizens of Netherlands I would want to take a minute and salute you for dealing with PTO in a great way and staying strong. As a member of a similar country I do know how dark can times be if nation is in PTO threat all the time.

United Kingdom

1. What do you think of the current situation of the eNetherlands?
I think the eNetherlands has done very well this month. Taking on eNorway, wiping them and then most importantly holding on to those regions is superb.

2. If you had to describe the eNetherlands in three words, which words would you use?
Determined. Fun. Pancakes.

3. Regarding the war between the NSPP and Asgard, overall how well do you think the war has been going thus far?
The war between the NSPP countries and Asgard was a complete success. By wiping both eNorway and eSweden we made our point to Asgard that they can't just attack us and get away with it! I would consider the war itself mostly over now, although I'm hoping that eNorway remains under eDutch control for a little while longer 🙂

I thought the DGSN was a very amusing idea and something to add a little fun to the occupation of eNorway. I think on the whole it was taken that way by everyone involved. Plus extra pancakes of course.

5. How is the NSPP doing at the moment according to you?
I believe the NSPP is a very valuable treaty and the nations involved are all on the same wavelength, which makes it very easy for us all to work together.

6. How do you think the relationship between our nations will look like in the future?
I can only guess how the next alliance shift will change the layout of the new world, but I imagine the eUK will be strongly linked with the eNetherlands either directly or through the NSPP which I hope would survive.

7. Do you have anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
All I would say to the citizens of the eNetherlands is have fun, take nothing that happens in this game too seriously and always, always make sure you watch a Michael J. Fox film at least once a fortnight 😛
