To clarify: I will not be running.
Seeing that no one is running for the Jewish Lobby presidency I will. I will change the name, leave and then return to the ILP. I have no intentions to stay longer than a few days.
If anyone has any objections to this please speak up. If anybody else would like to change the name go ahead.
This is not a PTO. It is simply a way to weed out some (possible) racism in Eire.
I am Jewish and think it could be offensive. If it's not meant to be offensive I would leave it alone. It seems to be an inactive party with inactive players. The last post on the party feed was five months ago. I think it looks bad for Ireland to have a questionable party around.

A lot of people believe that Jews have some secret role in the government and use it to use derogatory terms and just cause friction. The "Jewish Lobby" just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I've never heard the "Jews control the govt" theory in the game before. Heard it in real life, indeed. It annoys me when certain ethnic/religious groups victimize themselves to gain credibility or other things.

I'm pretty sure nothing hurtful was meant by the naming of "the jewish lobby". It's inactive anyway so, personally, I'm fine with you taking over and changing the name etc.
Fair play for announcing it before hand to avoid confusion over your intentions.
