Interview Request and Election Concerns

This evening, I have decided to mail the newly elected commander-in-chief for an interview. I included the list of questions, so I hope he is willing to answer them. I have great confidence that now is the time when we get our nation back to her former glory, but it's quite important to point out that preparedness for the next series of wars is just as necessary. If the national defense isn't ready for a massive attack, and we let this continue to happen to us, it might get to the point where we cannot recover and end up members of another nation permanently.

Another thing I did tonight is fill out the USWP Congressional Sign-Up form to run for a seat in the legislative branch this month. I feel like this is a great way for me to serve the American people, and offer myself as a man of the people.

Thirdly, and last, I noticed a player was taking wagers on a detailed betting system using odds and everything known to gambling to bet on who would win this month's Presidential Elections. Though we are capiatlists, I think this is a bad thing to do in what should be a fair, non-bias system. This also could cause concerns because losing candidates can say that the betting system effected the voting and influenced people to vote the way of the most profitable bet. I hope that we don't continue this trend in future elections. Nothing personal towards this person, but I think betting on an election is not in the best interests of America.

try not to compare the prez pool that happened in this game with capitalism. it's just the one-time racket of a nutcase who needs attention but will never get it in the political sphere of the game. nothing "this person" does was ever (or will ever) be "in the best interests of America."

I said the voting on the election was sort of capitalism going too far. It's just upsetting that we are so eager to make a quick buck that an election is just another thing to bet on.
