Interview of Lithuanian President Akuaba, by French ambassador Philip Cripe. English first, French translation below.



Philip Cripe : How do you see the future of Lithuania?

Akuaba : Lithuania is a small, but the strongest from Baltic countries. We have goals which specifically seek. I think our goals are the driving force in the game. So I see a small and ambitious country which will continue to exist not only on maps. We’ll continue to work successfully together with our neighbors and other friendly countries.

Philip Cripe : Thoughts on the eWorld as we know it?

Akuaba : The world is changing rapidly. Not so long ago we were on different alliance sides with some countries and now we are communicating friendly and helping each other. And you never know, maybe in the near future our paths will split once again. So in a such a fast world you can only do the best you can at the moment and hope to get the rest tomorrow.

Philip Cripe : How do you see your fight with Belarus? Fun and honourable or a fight to the death?

Akuaba : The first thing is to get fun in game. Of course not only this cause has led to the war. Our neighbor Latvia needed help. They fought on two fronts: with Belarus and Sweden. At the time, we were bounded by the NAP in Sweden, so BY was only option left to help them. Our soldiers wanted to act and has received it.

Philip Cripe : How do you see your allies, Estonia and Latvia? Brothers? Sisters? Comrades? Faithful? Or to a common problem you found the solution together?

Akuaba : Latvia and Estonia are our neighbours, brothers and sisters not only in eRepublik, but in real world too. In eWorld these relationships are going from ABC time. We always try to provide assistance to each other.

Philip Cripe : What is your view on your relations with the following countries from the time you started playing:
Russia?
Poland?
Serbia?
France?

Akuaba : I’ve been playing eRepublik for only five months. When I logged in to the game alliance TWO began to fall down. I saw a new alliances creation process. However, the opinion of these countries arose.

Russia is a friendly country, but we simply can not find a common interests.

Poland. From ancient times they are our friends and allies. Probably the most aid granted to Lithuania.

Serbia. There was a very friendly and warm relations some time ago. Nowadays we try to maintain a friendly relationship, but geopolitical situation complicates everything.

France. The country which has not been previously in close relations with Lithuania. We have never been in the same alliance. Recently, the relationship is really quite good. Maybe it will be a new friendships start. However, it will be quite difficult due to French disagreements with the UK and Belgium. Lithuania has always got on very well with these countries.

Philip Cripe : Comment voyez vous l'avenir de la Lituanie ?

Akuaba : La Lituanie est un petit pays, le plus puissant des pays baltiques. Nous avons des objectifs que nous recherchons en particulier. Je pense que nos objectifs sont ce qui fait bouger ce jeu. Donc je vois un petit pays plein d'ambition qui continuera d'exister et pas juste sur la carte. Nous continuerons à oeuvrer avec nos voisins at pays amis avec succès.

Philip Cripe : Des pensées sur l'eMonde tel que nous le connaissons ?

Akuaba : Le monde change rapidement. Il n'y a pas longtemps nous étions dans des alliances opposées à certains pays et maintenant nous somme en communication amicale et nous entraidons.
Et on sait jamais, autant dans un avenir proche nos chemins nous sépareront à nouveau. Donc dans un monde qui bouge vite tu peut seulement faire de ton mieux dans le moment présent et espérer avoir le reste demain.



Philip Cripe : Comment voyez vous votre combat avec la Biélorussie ? Amusant et honorable ou un combat à mort ?

Akuaba : La première chose c'est de s'amuser dans le jeu. Bien sur ce n'est pas la seule cause de cette guerre. Notre voisin Letton avait besoin d'aide. Ils se battaient sur deux fronts : la Biélorussie et la Suède, et à l'époque nous avions un NAP avec la Suéde, donc la seule option pour les aider restait la Biélorussie. Nos soldats voulaient agir et ils ont eu ce qu'ils voulaient.

Pour ceux qui peuvent pas lire un article sans qu'il y ai présence féminine...oui j'ai pensé à vous, en plus les filles de là bas sont jolies...lol

Philip Cripe : Comment voyez vous vos alliés, l'Estonie et la Lettonie ? Des frères ? Des sœurs ? Des Camarades ? Fidèles ? Ou vous avez trouvé une solution commune à un probléme commun ensemble ?

Akuaba : La Lettonie et l'Estonie sont nos voisins, frères et sœurs pas seulement dans Erepublik mais aussi dans la vraie vie. Dans l'eMonde ces relations ont commencé avec ABC. Nous essayons toujours de nous fournir du soutiens.

Philip Cripe : Quelles sont vos points de vue sur les pays suivants ?
Russie, Pologne, Serbie, France ?

Akuaba :

Je joue à Erepublik depuis 5 mois seulement. Quand je me suis connecté l'alliance TWO commencais à imploser. J'ai vu le processus de création d'une nouvelle alliance. Mais l'opinion de ces différents pays était d'actualité.

La Russie est un pays amical, mais nous n'arrivons simplement pas à avoir d'intérêts communs.

La Pologne depuis des temps anciens sont nos amis et alliés. Ils représentent probablement ceux qui ont le plus aidés la Lituanie.

La Serbie, nous avions une amitié bien chaleureuse à une époque. De nos jours nous essayons d'etretenir une relation amicale mais le contexte géopolitique complique tout.

La France, c'est le pays avec le quel nous n'avions pas eu de relations proches par le passé en Lituanie. Nous n'avons jamais été dans la même alliance. Récement, la relation est vraiment assez bonne. Ce sera peut être le début d'une nouvelle amitié. Par contre ce sera très difficile vu les différents entre la France et l'UK et la Belgique. La Lituanie s'est toujours bien entendu avec ces pays.
