Greeting citizens of eJapan and eWorld, today's article ( it won't be the last, just first in many to come ) is my small contribution to the noble cause of building the Cultural Center Sakurabana, so if you're able please donate and help achieving this goal. I would especially like to invite the Serbian community here, considering the fact that Sakurabana is from Serbia, so if you are able please help, every penny(dollar) is important😁



Sakurabana is a non profit organisation/association which is promoting Japanese pop-culture ( anime, manga, video games, fashion, music, cosplay,) in Serbia and the region. Also every year Sakurabana organises a convention called Japanizam, a gathering for all fans of Japan where they promote modern japanese culture, organise and held various debates and last not least important a Cosplay contests. Unfortunately due to lack of money there is a possibility that the next year Japanizam won't be held. Sakurabana is not just a place were you can meet and hang out with the people who share your interest and love towards Japan but also you can learn and do different things, like for example these things:

Manga library – one of a kind in the Balkans, with more than 500 books
Manga school "Mugen" – a workshop where manga fans may learn how to draw one for themselves,
Lectures, panels and round tables – getting intellectual on various interesting pop-culture topics, learning new things and partaking in debates
Origami workshop – getting a glimpse in one of the most traditional Japanese crafts
Video game tournaments – weekly show-offs between our dedicated gamers
Cosplay workshop – helping people make their own costumes, from sewing basics to armor crafting and complex makeup techniques.
