Good use of your Storage (An excellent business!)
In this time of economic crisis, when Plato shrinks every day the raw prices, the storage becomes a strategic tool.
For both new and experienced players, investing in storage could be much more profitable than investing in companies (raw, food or weapon). Following are two examples (which can be adapted to various situations, depending on the resources of citizens).
Some comments for new citizens
In order to understand this article you need to know the concept of "bot". If you don’t know what it means, in short it is a “anonymous” player that bought products every hour (exactly at xx:51 each hour), and the price that it pays is the prices suggested by the system when you try to put something for sale.
Usually, every young player tries at the beginning to start with a business in order to earn money to keep alive. So, it is well known that the most profitable factories or farms are the Saltpeter (these produce the greater income using the small investment).
So, we are going to compare the investment in a Saltpeter against the same investment in storage buildings.
Information about the saltpeter (equivalent to cattle farm)
Salpeter: 8500 BGN cost
Production: 175 (0% bonus), 210 (20% bonus), 245 (40% bonus). Details of the bonus for all the different products traded are given in the following table:
Continuing with the example of the Salpeter (or cattle farm), the price that the “bot” pays for both types of raw in the market (weapon and food) is currently 0.22 BGN per unit.
Considering the daily production of these lands, we have got a return of the money invested in:
As the Saltpetre and Cattle farm factories are the most efficient in terms of investment vs productivity, any other raw factory has a “return” of the money even higher.
The minimum time to get the investment back would be with a 100% bonus, which is 110 days.
110 days are almost 4 months!!!!
Comparing this investment with the same amount of many put in storages we’ve got:
8500 BGN can buy 8500: 1750 = 4.85 storages (we can buy 5 = 8750 BGN).
How we make money with our storage? That’s easy
Just a basic idea is buying cheap raw and then selling it to the bot.
The price bot for raw material is currently 0.22 BGN (Chilean market, but Bulgaria should be the same). You could buy it typically elsewhere in the world 10% cheaper (~ 0.19 or less!, as today in the Bulgarian market).
If the bot price changes (up or down), still buying 10% lower than the bot price, this is profitable.
If you buy for example at 0.21 to sell at 0.22, it is profitable, but the profit is just 3.33%, a waste of time.
The bot purchase products every hour ~250 units of each type of raw (based on the Chilean market). This means that in one hour we can sell 500 units (250 of raw food and 250 of raw weapon).
If we have 5 storages, our storage capacity would be 5000 units, ie we can keep 2500 units of raw food and 2500 of raw weapon, which will sell in 10 hours.
If you do the operation twice a day, a day would sell about 10,000 units (5000 of each raw).
So, we have got the following figures for our storage investment:
- 10,000 units sold means:
0.22 sale price - purchase price 0.19 = 0.03 Net income per unit
Total units sold 10,000 * net income 0.03 = 300 BGN
So, doing this twice a day you could easily earn 300 BGN in a day.
If the price at which you purchased the raw is lower, your profit increases even more (100 BGN earn per 0.01 cheaper).
Finally, the option of investing money in storages is much better compared to invest in factories.
The money is recovered much more quickly and 3 or 4 times more efficiently.
So you know, if you have little BGN, investing in storage can be a very good deal.
We recommend countries with large bonuses such as China, USA, Poland, Serbia, Russia, and Bulgaria, to purchase raw 10% cheaper than the bot price.
***The bot price is for the chilean market, but shouldn'be much difference for a local licence in the rest of the countries.

So, you mean that if I put 1000 food RAW in the market with 0.22 price, bot will buy it for 4 hours? Even though the lowest market price is 0,17???

yes!, that is the way in which the bot works!!
I've been doing this all week, and it works perfectly!
the bot will buy 250 units of each raw each hour. so you could sell 500 unit per hour (250 food and 250 weapon).
the lowest prices doesn't matter, the bot always pay a fixed price.
I put a little above 250 of each material at 0.22 (the sugested price) and will wait so see if this happens on our market too
it dont realy work in big countryes like Bulgaria, becouse in big countries bot is very rarely buying raw from the market. it only does for goods (food/tanks) market and in smal amounts, but with goods becous of VAT what you sugest is pointless.
i use to do what you sugest in canada the bot ther was very active
