Dear eRepublikans,
In eRepublik there are two ways to start a war:
1) By setting a country as your Natural Enemy. In this case the war is free to start, attacking regions is also free and you get a +10% Natural Enemy bonus.
or
2) By declaring war. This way costs you gold to declare the war, costs you gold everytime you attack a region, and your citizens do not get +10% bonus.
It seems the CP of FYROM does not know the basic game mechanics. Instead of declaring Natural Enemy against Greece he declared a War against Greece. So FYROM has now paid 260 gold to open a war against Greece, when it could have been free. They will also pay gold everytime they open an attack, when it could have been free. Finally, they will not get a natural enemy bonus when they could have had +10% bonus.
FYROM has no congress so only the President votes. This law has already passed.

Actually, smee again. I have to correct you. Slovenian declaration of war would cost 407.5g. While MKD has around 2x more people, meaning around 800 - 1000g for its declaration of war.

If so, the cost of let's say Slovenia declaring war on France or Germany would vary, but it does not. I checked it personally.
I think the cost is based solely on the stats of the country declaring war.
