From the desk of your president - UKPP

Day 2,433, 12:05 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Reginald Marrowbum

Well folks it has been 3 days since my election as leader and much has occured within our nation so without furthur delay, let us recap.

CONGRESS

14 UKPP members stated their intention to make a serious attempt to run for congress with many others offering themselves as blockers to add some volume to our congressional list.

After some consultation the following is the provisional unranked list for Congress candidates;
1. Lanthanide
2. Mr Knee
3. Malkaiser
4. Sir Robert V
5. NoFolknGood
6. 6times5is30
7. Nathan Slater
8. Physo Starmik
9. Arafel
10. Fenraar
11. Surferdude
12. Crispydragon
13. Volkonski
14. Spartanvds
Our expectations for congressional representation are that we will certainly have 4 members, more likely to have 8 with 10 as a very good result and 12 as the truly exceptional performance. Beyond that is sadly impossible at this time.

This list will be updated once all members on this list have been PM'd regarding congressional affairs.

Someone nicked my wallet

It appears that by his own admission our current CP has given into the temptation of breaking into the national piggybank and absconding with a few notes stuffed in his back pocket.

UKPP Congressmembers are now free to impeach the current CP under UKPP law regarding theft of national funds.

This event has also had a wider effect on the nation namely the fall of Vendetta. With their leaders now complicit in theft and their Serbian friends breaking off to form their own party, Vendetta has fallen from 2nd to 6th and in all probability will not recover.

I have attempted to enter into discussion with other party presidents about this affair and what may happen over the coming days but sadly the response has been poor to none.

The impact upon the UKPP is minimal as we are apparently designed to function under corrupt, incompetent and inactive national leadership and we do not run organisation based investment programs.

However, Alfagrem has been in contact with what he believes are moderate, misguided or misinformed members of that party and a handful of them have chosen to break their ties and join us or rejoin us here at the UKPP.

He does assure me that he did not recruit one of our current members, The CP himself - BigAnt!

We have not yet established what BA's plans are but until we do and despite what your own personal feelings are, we ask party members to remain classy and not to get involved.

Bits and pieces

Conference - I have been discussing with others if it is possible to experiment with the format we usually have and whilst we discuss this and await the resolution of political events - The conference will occur not this weekend but next weekend.

Forums - I'm a hardcore forum user and apparently we have a forum that some eUK players use. One of the plans that intrigued me in Alfagrems handover of projects was the plan to move us onto this forum. We have however run into unforseen obstacles that have yet to be resolved.

CP race - Our Secretary General will be in contact with you all about the upcoming CP elections to see if we have any runners and attempting to get them prepared to run.

With my thanks for all your support,
Sir Reginald Marrowbum
