Eight months ago the Clan Wolf party was graciously allowed entry to Ireland under less than ideal circumstances. You welcomed us with a hospitality and inclusiveness that was as overwhelming as it was humbling. Our time with you invited us into your community and allowed to witness for ourselves the equally friendly and remarkably efficient, near professional, operation of your country. I can’t fairly measure how much gratitude I have to Ireland, nor can I ever repay your kindness.

Unfortunately, real life events had other plans for us. Legal issues, family illnesses and passing of loved took many of us away from the game. The near ridiculous volume of unfortunate events had me wondering if the seventh seal had been opened, or potentially it was as simple as ‘If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans’. Either way, our numbers are now more than half of what they were, and moral has taken a solid hit. We have been contemplating a new start for a couple months now to reset our fate as it were. Ironically that decision has led us back to where we started.

The majority of us have begun the process of moving, but before I leave I wanted to say a proper goodbye to this wonderful country that we have called home.
