Once again two highly respected Candidates went toe to toe in this months Federalist Party Primary and although Dave put the smack down on Orikfricai this month I know personally he will be back to take some revenge! Never the less it was a clean race with a complete lack of drama! Being close to both I knew the eventual winner would more then likely be Dave due to his hard work the last few months and I was proven right. Even though Dave is a very busy guy he did have some time to sit down with me and talk a bit about the coming month and added a bit more!


Scott Coyle, Sr. - After a great interview between the exiting Party President Trekker and the incoming Party President Dave Gulya, I got Dave to take some time away from his busy schedule to help the members get to know him a bit better. So without further adieu here is the next Federalist Party President Dave Gulya!

Dave Gulya - First, let me thank you all for believing in me enough to nominate and subsequently elect me as your next Party President. I don’t have grand ideas, but I have some ideas. And I am going to need everyone’s help in realizing these goals.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - Would you mind telling the members a bit about yourself.

Dave Gulya - I am currently Vice President of the eUnited States of America after coming off of a 2 month stint as Secretary of the Interior. I have been mostly active in eRep for almost a year now despite having a much older eBirthdate. I have served in quite a few jobs within many Administrations and really enjoy my present job as Chief of Staff of THE Federalist Party. I was appointed as Commanding Officer of S.H.I.E.L.D. earlier this month and have done my best to keep our ship afloat. I am Proud & Horny to the core and look forward to our Fed future together.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - So what made you want to run for Federalist Party President this Month?

Dave Gulya - Obviously I have higher aspirations. I would like to be Country President some day. I mean, after all, isn’t that what some part of the game is? To try to achieve as many goals as you want? Chief of Staff is a great stepping stone to being Party President because you are basically responsible for the day to day operations of the Party. The next logical step is to be Party President. After serving as Party President, I would like to return to work within the Party either as someone else’s CoS or in any way that I can be most helpful. I have some ideas to add members that I want to try, plus some things to increase activity. If I can be successful, with the help of the Party’s membership, we can return to Party #1 and continue as a positive influence to new players and maintain our credo to Restore Government Integrity.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - I would have to agree with all of what you said and can’t wait to see what you have planned for the party. So why don’t we continue this, would you mind going over your goals for your first term as Federalist Party President?

Dave Gulya - Firstly, I’d like to offer every new Fed a Welcome Package that contains up to 100 CC, up to 100 Q2 Food until I run out, then 75 Q7 Food, and up to 50 Q2 Weps until I run out, then 50 Q7 Tanks. If they will join S.H.I.E.L.D. also, an additional:
up to 100 CC, up to 100 Q2 Food until I run out, then 75 Q7 Food and up to 25 Q7 Tanks as well as 2 Moving Tickets. I would also like to have EVERY NEW FED welcomed. And by that, I mean, I want the Leadership especially, to check the Introductions and Access Request Thread and put a comment. I was also thinking about awarding prizes to the Top Posting Users of the Week. The Top 3 will get some valuable Prizes. And I will open this up to Visitors as well. Get more activity to the Forum. Top Posting Users of the Week get valuable prizes. If need be, Top 3 Feds and Top 3 Visitors. This will allow the Director of the Fun Zone (whoever steps up to take the job) a chance to really throw out some ideas to the Forum Games area.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - Sounds like it will be an amazing month for sure. So tell the audience who is in your cabinet for your first term?

Dave Gulya - My Cabinet is honestly, mostly unfilled. But so far, I have Talio Extremist as VPP, Orikfricai as S.H.I.E.L.D. CO, Ace Viper wants a shot as Director of the Fun Zone, a new member; Howard Casey would like to try his hand as Retention Director, Trekker has agreed to stay on and serve this term as Political Director, ViKy will hold the shekels, and today I confirmed that you would return as King of All Fed Media. That leaves openings in Chief of Staff, Recruitment Director, Fed Whip, Technical Department Director and FedEx Director. So as the old saying goes, a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link, we can be strong if we ALL work together.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - I greatly appreciate that title and recognition, well it looks like you have the start to a great cabinet and I can’t wait to see who you peg to fill the remaining spots. So moving on you have mentioned a big promotion for one of the most loyal party members we have and that is Orikfricai who will be running S.H.I.E.L.D as the Commanding Officer. Aside from his loyalty what other reasons did you decide to promote him to replace you?

Dave Gulya - Your title is well earned and I would have called you the hardest working man in show business but that is me. Lol. Orikfricai is the natural choice because of many reasons. He is active and that is key. That is key for the success of ANY part of what we are doing. Activity drives the game, and activity drives the meta portion. He is one of the longest serving members of the Command Staff besides me so he has knowledge of what is going on. He ran HAMMER and did so very well and that is one of those jobs that IMO, leads to XO and eventually CO. Orik has been here every step of the way for me and he deserves the job. Orik can write his own ticket for his future as far as I am concerned. He has a lot of ideas and given the right venue for making things happen, he will succeed. He is skeptical about taking over but as long as he realizes that we all were. I was freaking out about taking over the Unit but for the betterment of S.H.I.E.L.D, I did it and we survive today. Just like the chain I mentioned before, some of the same can be said for a Leader. A leader is only as good as the Staff that they surround themselves with. We are Feds, we are strong and we will succeed.


Scott Coyle, Sr. - Well from knowing Orikfricai as long as I have I completely agree! Well we are nearing the end of the time and I will leave the floor open for you to put in your last words before we close it out.

Dave Gulya - Again, thank you for putting your trust in me to run the Party for the month of March. The most important thing that EVERY Fed needs to know is to GET INVOLVED! Dave Gulya - What would you say is a highlight of your PP Term?

Trekker Tlumac - The highlight of my term was actually at the very beginning of the term. The first 48-72 hours of the term, really. It is no secret now that in the last hours of the PP election that most of SHIELD leadership left and took the commune. In those first 2-3 days we scrambled to make sense of what happened and to cull the bleeding. I have never seen my Feds so united and it warmed my heart. People of limited activity jumped in to do what ever was needed. I, personally, spent two 12 hour days on IRC working to correct the problem. And we pulled something beautiful out of something that should have been very ugly. That was the highlight of my term as PP.


Dave Gulya - What makes the Feds so Damn Proud and So Damn Horny?

Trekker Tlumac - Well it is the die hard Fed blood in us all that does that. We rise to the call when needed. All true Feds at heart come out of the gate swinging when the party or country is threatened. So... That sexy Fed Blood


Dave Gulya - Would you rather…smell terrible (but you can’t smell it) or your partner smell terrible and you have to smell it?

Trekker Tlumac - Partner smell terrible. If I loved them I would deal with it and not want them to put up with it.


Dave Gulya - If you got the chance to have dinner with a Fed who has left the game, who would it be?

Trekker Tlumac - Many great Feds to choose. But I would definitely go with BigCDizzle. He was one of the idols I looked up to when I first started to go Meta. He left the game around I got active. He has been back a couple times since and he and I always talk about music. A dinner talking shop about music would be fun.


Dave Gulya - If you could only listen to one band for the rest of your life, who would you choose?

Trekker Tlumac - Red Hot Chili Peppers, hands down. Their music catalog is so varied and great.


Dave Gulya - What do you want the Feds to remember about Trekker when you are gone from us?

Trekker Tlumac - I will borrow Roosevelt's borrowed ideology here: "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far”


Dave Gulya - Lastly, what advice do you have for anyone interested in serving in Fed Leadership or becoming Fed PP?

Trekker Tlumac - Do it. Being a leader is not as hard as people make it out to be. Be kind, speak truthfully, and help when you can. It is that simple.

What is required for an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D ?

1st | - You need a uniform. Go Uniform Request section and make a new topic to request a uniform!

2nd | - You need to join the SHIELD Commune. This is where we make tanks, food, other stuff in order to fund the MU, as well as the HAMMER program. You can find a commune job with Molly Emma. The job offer pays 1.03 Country Currency (CC). Remember, when you work for our commune you receive gold OR supplies not CC. (Foreign fighters; you need to move to a eUSA region to apply for commune)

3rd | - Acknowledge Code of Conduct once. These are the rules.

4th | - You must follow the Daily Orders on the Fed Forum -

5th | - New HAMMER Applicants Apply Here

^{We are no longer accepting any new foreign D1 players with less than 8,000 strength as of February 1st, 2015 (erep Day 2,630)}

A Division 1 eUSA citizen with less than 8,000 strength will now be automatically in our new version of HAMMER strength training. You will not be requesting supplies via the Commune. Basically, this group will work for cc so they can convert it into gold. They will earn above market salary wage ranging from 50-60cc a day.*

Also, at the start of each new week URLs will be provided in the HAMMER Forum where all of these types of players in this bracket will collect supplies from the URLs. This HAMMER soldier will also be allowed to fight whenever they want although its encouraged that they should only work and strength train.**

^{* This cc can be used towards buying food, weapons, houses, convert it to gold on the monetary market...whatever is their heart's desire. These HAMMERS will not request supplies from the regular Daily Orders and Briefing thread.
** HAMMERS who need houses can buy them on the market, but will not be reimbursed because they work for a salary.}

Requirements:

- Join S.H.I.E.L.D in game
- Wear a Uniform
- Fight (according to NSC orders) or strength train
- 1.03 CC (salary will be raised when you are accepted into HAMMER) mandatory commune
- Register on the SHIELD Forum
- Register on the eUSA Forum

This HAMMER program will still encourage strength training (aka saving gold for training ground discount upgrades) and also allow the player to have free will with the money they earn by working in the commune.

We have always had the goal of recruiting new active players and helping them rise through the ranks so we intentionally have continuous turn over. Simply who likes having the same people running everything for months and years. That just doesn't provide the party or the country with anything useful. Having a large base of people you can look to is far more productive and honestly makes people happier. Now with that said if you don't want to rise past a certain point we won't pressure you to but we will still ask you on occasion in case things change. Never fear talking to anyone in our party leadership as we are always willing to help those both old and new alike.
