Everybody Calm Down...what if Glove IS love?

Mood music (something other than rap this time)

well, where to begin?

Glove is president.....

I, unlike the majority, was not expecting Glove to win the election. I was sitting on team Civil Anarchy, and honestly thought that CA would take the election easily. I could not have been more wrong.

Now for some history, from my perspective (consider it BS if you will)

So as you all know, there has been an ongoing revolution in the United States. A large faction of players rising up against the "elitists" that have held the power in this country for quite some time. I, as a relatively new player, have found myself intrigued by this concept. Let me begin by saying this, I have played eRep for about 5 months, have never been in congress, have never served in any executive positions, and have never been Party President. Yet according to multiple other players, I am part of the long time ruling class of this nation. Simply because I believe differently, I was labled as part of the problem.

That is the image that I was given of this "revolution". A group so bent on their own Ideas, that they would disregard anyone that had a different opinion. I slowly grew further and further away from this movement, and anything that they supported. I had found myself disagreeing with ideas, simply because a certain person had proposed them.

So now if we fast-forward to the August Presidential elections, we had Glove running against Civil Anarchy. Glove was backed by the RLC (which has shown itself to be a PTO threat of massive proportions), and nearly every recognisable leader of the anti-elitist movement. While Civil found support from the Feds, USWP, iNCi, and a few smaller parties.

I campaigned vehemently against Glove. In my mind, assosiating with the people he did automatically made him an idiot, and a threat. I used every chance I had to shout for CA, or to come against Glove. Glove won by a close margin, and I all but lost hope for our country.

A large group of eAmericans considered Glove winning the CP election, the final straw in the PTO of eUSA. When his Cabinet was announced, it included Chickensguys (an enemy of the state), and many....shall we call them, Questionable choices.

Then something amazing happened. As it seemed, Glove went back on all deals that he had with RGR/GCL/PtH I-IV/Ajay, and Chickensguys Took power in the RLC away from Ajay.

Then on top of that wonderful news, the DoD orders are being updated again, and the Pony Express is open again. Two things that had fallen by the wayside in the last two administrations.

This is not something that I expected. Glove has surprised me this time.

Therefore, I will put aside my personal preferences, and give the Glove administration a chance, and I will urge all of you to do the same. We do not need more division. Let's wait and see what happens, before we try to tear this administration down.

Just one man's thoughts.
