Very interesting theory.
Not sure if it'll be good or if it'll help to definitively kill this game.

I was thinking the same thing. If we think back tot he Iran/Turkey CO epics, if a group were smart and quick enough, they could do major damage in the first 15 odd mins and the rather then spending cc on COs, they could use this feature to pretty much eliminate all div damage (since it effects all divs for every push) and help keep the upper hand.
Or if they are skilled and well drilled, they could let one team hit, wait until the counter giver more points per minute, then push the wall and use this feature to defend.
All in all it will bring another element into the game and will make the MUs/Govs work on a different strategy. The down side is, some BH hunter will use it to save his 3 or 5g medal and it effects all divs. As we already see many BH hunters dont care for the war, just their bit of metal.
these are good predictions based on how the button currently works.
i suspect that it was made very easy to use today to get lots of test results and hope that in full implementation it's mechanics will be more restricted.
cheers, I am not just a pretty face after all 😛
Hope they don't implement this forever. There's enough negative feedback, maybe they'll realize that.
it suppresses your own damage though only? yes they may implement it. most battles though is unbalanced.
It suppressed every player in all divs on both sides for 2min for 1k cc.
I'd imagine a fulltime implementation would be lesspowerful, or harder to obtain.

Thanks for the heads up. Good article.

I agree that this is an A/B test for this feature. They need no reality check for a long while after all.
Not a chance of it being implemented long term.
