eRepublik A-Level Results Post
HebronGazelle
Hey guys. If you didn't know that A-Level results day is tomorrow (Thrusday 13th August) then that means you probably didn't do an A-Level exam! As far as I'm aware there are actually a couple of people who are doing A-levels in the eUK... well, I can think of 5 people... and that includes me. Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to do an article with some info, and we can all (all five of us) can discuss our results tomorrow when we get them. If you are taking GCSEs, go away, you guys still have a week!
Grade Boundaries
Because somebody will miss their grade by one mark. Grade boundaries are up the day before results for almost all exam boards. I've posted links below. If the links don't work go to The Student Room and you should find the links quite quickly, or you can just type '[exam board] grade boundaries 2015' into your favourite search engine.

I Need Advice About My Results!
If you need advice about your results there are several things you can do.
If you have just missed a grade by 1 or 2 two marks you should contact your school/college and ask about remarks. You may want to check out the UCAS website for advice too if you are applying to university.
If you don't know what something means, I'm sure anyone on eRepublik will help you out (although you might accidentally reveal your grades). If you get your results at school/college you can ask a member of staff, they are used to these things. The Student Room also has lots of helpful people.
If you absolutely failed then... well... I don't know. You can always retake exams next year. Again, UCAS or school/college are the best places to go.
Basically, if you need advice go to the UCAS website, school/college, The Student Room or ask the ugly people of eRepublik.
My Grades Are...
Yes, I want to hear your grades. Post them or else you will see endless T-Swizzle gifs.
P.S. If you get bad results, it isn't the end of the world, lots of successful and/or happy people didn't do so well in their school exams.

Good luck guys, going back to school myself in September.
Horice 🙂
Best of luck guys. I'm sure you'll be okay whatever letters they give you
What about a letter giving me a court date for a murder trial?
I meaning letters as in A, B, C, D but I guess that sort of letter could put you in a shit situation
History C, Archaeology D, General Studies D and business U.
somehow got into uni with that but since dropped out 😛
I failed all my business GCSE's and on the exam day I passed xD Never saw my teacher again... He must be scared i'd rub it in 😉
out of the 4 exams i sat in business i failed all but the first one
Out of all the exams I've ever sat Science and Business are the only ones I've passed 😛 And I still have a job 😉
Hated them. Good luck everyone receiving their results! Don't be too bummed out if you didn't get the grades you wanted, after a few years in University you realise it isn't everything there is to do in life (No matter how much the teachers tell you it is).
Just remember, you don't need a good grade to work for yourself and you can always go back and re-do A levels when you're older if it matters that much! 😃
Looooong time ago, but I got one of each (Maths A, Gen Studies B, Further Maths C, Graphics D, Physics E). I ended up at university studying a subject I came to loathe, then after two years swapped to a subject with which I had a love/hate relationship, and scraped through despite being missing from most lectures. I stayed in education in one form or another until my late 20s, had a blast, met some great people and I'm afraid I was very, very drunk...
In hindsight, I wish I'd studied different subjects, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Despite it being over 25 years ago, I still remember my A-level results day to this day. Good luck to all of you who get their results today! \o/
No one cares about your life story
u seem upset bbz
Grow up, Dapper
Good luck to everyone collecting results! Remember that it is very possible to be successful, and more importantly, happy, even if you don't get the grades you were hoping for.

No, they're not everything -- but they can make the difference in which uni you attend, and that can be a big thing. For those awaiting grades, I hope you aced them all! And if I recall, you can always retake them next year if you messed up - just remember to study next time!
For those contemplating the future, good grades will get you into a good school. A good school will open some extra doors early on. But once you have established yourself in your career, those grades won't mean a thing. I've worked with PhDs who were dumb as rocks, and senior school dropouts who had more ability than most. What really matters is what you put into it, and here's where the good grades pay off: you got them because you learned to study effectively, which IS the skill you'll need in life. Because we never, ever, stop learning.
Good luck Kids enjoy being a slave all your lifes! being watched by big brother as your post your life to social media
