Citizens of Norway,

It is a great pleasure for me to announce the openning of the Swiss Embassy here in Norway.

Common History

The first relations between Switzerland and Norway were established a very long time ago in the early days of Erepublik: when tensions between the Mediterranean Alliance and Northern Alliance were about to break, Switzerland signed a MPP with Norway, a member of the NA which caused a protest from Italy and France, members of the MA, who saw a possible NA expansion in the MMP. Ever since Switzerland was introduced to the game, there was a small population within the country and Norway, Sweden and several other countries helped establish an unofficial Swiss military force.

Together with Norway, Switzerland was a member of EDEN for a long time but was kicked out because of inactivity. When the EDEN application negotiations were about to begin again, Switzerland decided to start everything from the beginning and change the military side. Meanwhile, alliances were falling down and new ones were born from the ashes of the old ones. Switzerland and Norway are again fighting on the same side because of the cooperation between Circle of Trust and Asgard.
