eLife and the Elections

Oh hai!

As I was driving around today, gathering supplies for Mother's Day dinner, I was thinking about my life; I love life, my life especially. I've got a good job, and a great family. The thing that makes my life so enjoyable is routine. I know when I have to be at work, when to drop the kid off at daycare etc. It is this routine that keeps everything organized and allows me more time to enjoy other aspects of life. Then I began to contrast this with my eLife.

^ contrast

I came to the conclusion that in my eLife, I hate routine. I can't stand just two clicking, or checking the forum for a Roll Call for this or that organization. It is boring. What I like are war, invasion and scandal, it's what makes this game fun! I know a lot of role players who do not enjoy a break in their routine. They live and die by the price of this commodity or the other. I get it, but I can't relate.

The most recent CP elections saw 3 main candidates duke it out. While one candidate had some crazy ideas, the others tried to portray him as "unsafe" or "unrealistic". I don't know about you folks, but give me an evil mastermind who fails over a safe bet anyday.

Mastermind??

This, my friends, is why I almost never vote for the safe candidate. Give me chaos, war and uncertainty over routine and safety anyday. I know a lot of you will disagree, but that's your problem.

Don't ask why
