Crumoet for a 2nd term as President

Day 1,468, 02:30 Published in South Africa Brazil by Crumoet

Who would make a good president? It seems this is ground that we have been over before. I have been involved in eSa for just over 2 years now and have had this privilege once already. I would like to believe I did the best that I could for eSa. I will be the 1st to admit I made some mistakes and that I learnt a lot from my time as President. For those of you who don't know me I have been CP once before. I have served a term as Minister of Foreign Affairs. I have served Multiple terms as Minister of Finance and I have also had the priviledge of Serving as both Speaker and Deputy Speaker of congress.

A president must be willing to act whatever time a crisis occurs. He or she needs remarkable strength, both mental and physical, in order to do the job of president. I would like to believe these are qualities I possess.

My first term turned out to be a difficult one and if I learnt 1 thing it is that a successful presidential term depends on more than just the right candidate. A successful term depends on having a good team and should you decide to support me I will need all of you to help make it a successful term. As a part of this Mashaka Kulala has agreed to be my Vp should I be elected.

So why a 2nd term?

Recent events in the e-world have destabilised the security that we have enjoyed over the last few months. Our Allies Brazil has come under threat from the combined weight of Spain and more recently Indonesia. As I type this our borders are being exposed to Indonesian threat. I believe I can step up to the plate with this challenge and it is not in my nature to sit by idly while the land I have come to love is at risk!

So where do my priorities lie for the upcoming term should I be instated as president?

National Security: With the threat of Indonesia on our doorstep I would like to work with our allies and try and secure our borders once more. Co-ordinated strikes and rallying support are my preferred methods of working with our Allies. Tactics can often help a lot when we don’t have brute force to back it up. Rw’s and tactical blocking can help us if the need arises.

Foreign Affairs: I would like to continue are relationship with Brazil and our other Allies in CSC. In my previous term I made some good contacts in Brazil and Chile amongst others. These could prove invaluable in the upcoming term.

Player development: I have recently been privileged to work with SamGibz in the development of a new player development programme which I think is vital for eSa if we wish to continue and in order to get some new life in our lands. In my opinion supporting this venture was Rico’s best contribution by far this term. New players are the future and the lifeblood of our close knit community.

Mpps: I think that at present we have a good mix of mpp’s with our allies and I would like to keep the mpp’s that we have the last few months unless there is a good reason to replace any. Depending on our security status we may need to spend a bit more on MPP’s which we would need to look at when the time comes.

Ministry of Security: The recent mission has seen an influx of potential security risks and I would like to beef up our security team. The MOS is a department that we are lucky to have such hard working individuals in. Post congress elections it would appear that we lost two seats to rogue PTO elements and it is going to take some hard work to get this threat under control.

Military: I think we need to prioritise military costs if we are still at risk come Cp elections. We would need to make sure that our citizens and military have the tools they need to defend our borders and to return us to a secure state.

The worst case scenario would leave us without a country come election time as a lot can happen in the next week or so. Brazil may fall and if they do we are probably next on the list If this is what we face I would like to draw upon all our resources and help both our allies and us to get back on the map.

I would like the opportunity to be our president during these trying times and would appreciate if you would consider voting for me in the upcoming elections. Whatever the outcome we will all be needed in the upcoming days and I encourage everyone to stick together for together we can prevail where alone we would fail.
