CP Update - Yep another one

Good Evening eAustralia!

Hello all to another CP update. Well we have some good news, some semi good news and to take our minds off things, some give aways.

I have had a pretty full on past couple of days, both in RL and here in game, so I will get straight to it. Today’s update will include a little bit of humour as well… well humour for me.



AS Threat

In my previous article, I spoke about a potential threat from another nation. They had decided, our peaceful little homeland, looked plucked for the taking. After some frantic diplomatic efforts, both talking to some members of that country, to our Allies, to our friends, to friendly MUs we have managed to stall this potential AS.

However the threat is still there. I have received word that we might be still under threat. Not today, not tomorrow, but later when the game mechanics allow them to propose another AS. So for now, enjoy this time, but save up your EB’s and keep your ears out for a call to war.


Work Tax

Well this is linked to the potential AS we were facing, as I explained above, it has been ‘delayed’ by the opposing country.

As I stated in my previous article, Congress accepted a temporary 2% WT increase due to this threat. While the threat is still present, due to the hostile countries actions, it has been delayed for around 2 weeks or so. So as promised (yes, it is rare a politician's promise is kept), I will be reducing the tax.


MPPs

We have continue to renew our MPP stack, these MPPs were the ones agreed upon by the government of JackTrout and we have added eChina to our MPP stack. China was signed after I reached out to the lovely KrisTine in regards to supporting eAustralia in our time of need.


New Zealand

As you will be aware, eNew Zealand is in the process of regaining their region. This has been fully approved by eAustralia. Once this region is handed over, I will be returning the tax we have made from holding this region. Australia values its friendship with New Zealand (Yes, I am a real life Australian and I cringed at saying that).

eNew Zealand has spoken about moving into a Training War with eAustralia once their region is handed over. This well be brought up in Congress to be discussed. But I wanted you, the public to be aware of what is happening in our country.


Food Drop

I have been lucky this past week, the rainfall in the wheat belt area of Western Australia has provided me with a bumper harvest. So as any good leader, I want to share the love with you all.
