Join the new world

Good morning eAustralia,

Well this is a little bit later then planned. However rest assured it is not due to me being slack... okay one day was, but it was my RL birthday, so I am allowed to get sloshed on that day. Instead it was because of quite a few developments that have been changing of the course of the past few days.

But more about all of that in this article....



As the title suggests, the main focus of today's article is about MPP strengthening. We are currently going through the process of renewing many of our MPPs. I know a lot of people are worried about our MPP stack being to large for our economy, but due to the changing geo-political scene, congress has been informed and they understand, the need for an increased MPP stack.

Don't worry, the costs will not be taken out of your tax dollars. Due to private donations, we have enough spare cash to sign 10 more/new MPPs. Some of these will be to replace nations that can not renew their MPPs with us (Slovenia being one, as they are cutting back on their MPPs, Norway due to them being under MTO and few more are to be expected), but just to let the Australian public know, we will still fight for our Asteria and Nebula brothers and sisters no matter if we have a MPP with them or not.

Then there is the new MPPs we will be looking at signing. Some of these are with old friends, some are with old alliance partners and some a MPPs we sign from time to time and some are completely new ones.

As you might of noticed, Chile and the USA have had a war (at the time of writing this article, the war is in it's closing rounds). This was made easier by Chile using our Training War with the USA to do a sneak attack. While this did not technically breach the region rent agreement between Australia and Chile, it was considered a breach of trust.

This breach of trust was discussed with the USA CP at the time Wild Owl and also the MoFA and CP of Chile at the time. However it has also caused ripples across our friends and allies. While this matter is still developing, I can not go into too much detail, but your congress and cabinet have been kept completely up to date with everything that has transpired and is still transpiring.

All in all, we currently now have control of all of our regions and will soon as a nation, we will decide on the next course of action. And you, the public will be informed.



Political Party President elections are coming up. So if you are interested in running for PP, please nominate yourself and run a good campaign to get the votes.



Australia has been asked to stay on as SG of Nebula. This is an honour for Australia and one that should not be taken lightly. I want to take the time to thank the member countries for entrusting Australia with this role.

Due to being SG again, I have updated the Nebula page with the new positions and who is in what role. Some Australian's of been assigned different positions and I hope they do our country proud.



Do not worry there is more going on in the government, then what I have written above. But unfortunately due to the main issue is still ongoing and developing, I can not go into more detail about it. But do not worry, your congress members have been kept in the loop fully and will stay with in the updates until I am free to speak publicly about it all.
