Join the new world

Firstly thank you for all the support given to me over the last couple of days.

I have been travelling for work recently so I was not as active as I would normally have been but have received some great help from the team. Thank goodness I was able to log on twice a day; otherwise I would be in big trouble by now.


Until you are in the presidential seat you do not realize how many messages you get from all parts of the world. You are also not aware of the technicalities of the E-Netherlands game. For instance having played the game for 2 years, I did not know you had to announce your team on the forum, I thought it was something the CoC did for historical purposes. Even when members of government informed me where to post it, I did not know I had to press the locked button before I could post it. I eventually got it right but there was some delay in allocating the respective titles.



By now you should all be aware of the Nebula break up, and as most of you I am also rather disappointed in still not being able to join an alliance. As a new player (only two years old), I have never felt what it was like to be part of an alliance, I have always in jealousy listened to the old players chat about the good old days when the Netherlands was part of an alliance. It is still my view that this game should not be played on our own and over two years without being able to join a real alliance is much too long. We will therefore keep our ears on the ground and pursue any possibilities in this respect for the rest of my term. Our Ministry of foreign affairs has been in discussion with some countries over the past week and I am holding thumbs that something good can come of it. I will let you know the details once we have something concrete.


We will be taking stock of the training facilities of our citizens over the next couple of weeks and will be evaluating the situation with a view to help active players. So if you are active and not training at 90 a day yet, we are coming for you!
