Congress Activity Report - October
Armour144
Here it is again: your monthly report on the activity levels of all congressmen on the forums. Now with more details
😃
All information was gathered on October 23. # of posts refers to the number of posts in discussions, while # of votes refers to the number of times a congressman posted in a voting thread. Total Posts is the sum of # of Posts and # of Votes.
Some things to note:
There were 11 forums votes. Simon Boucher-Ruest has more because he is the speaker and so he opened and closed each vote. Other vote counts may be larger than 11 because of a congressman changing their vote.
I included which party each congressman was elected under. This was not to bring down certain parties while boosting the reputation of others, I simply thought it was an interesting addition.
There were 395 less posts, this past month compared to the September congress. This amounts to an average of 7.65 less posts per congressman this month.
2 congressmen didn't even post a single time on the forums. One congressman is permanently banned from the forums (Rolo) so it is a waste to even elect him. 1z congressmen couldn't find the time to post an average of once a day. 18 weren't able to post in a discussion an average of once per day. Only 8 congressmen posted an average of 2 or more times per day in a discussion.
Overall, I was a little disappointed in the drop in activity levels over the past month. Usually you see the reverse of this when something as exciting as PTO comes around. Instead, its turned into a 5-person discussion it seems. Oh well, there's always next month...

But will it change this month?
Post counts are misleading...I can type "I agree" and have it count as a post. Quality over quantity is a true measuring stick. One can have a huge impact with 10 posts and sometimes more so than the person with 5 times as many posts.
Good article though Armour...I take nothing away from what your trying to do. Just saying that what you say is often times more valuable than the number of times you say it.
@Acacia, that is why I separated the Discussion posts and Vote posts. There are still some discussion posts that are something like "I agree", but at least this way I've filtered out most of the posts that contribute nothing to a discussion
Good read Armour, V&S.
Hopefully this months congress can up the ante o7
I should have troll more.
Great work armor, always interesting to read those stats.
Only 2 people above 100 posts. Terrible, just terrible.
Elect Muglack in Ontario and see an active congress. I may not get along well with everyone but at least I put asses in the seats.
I resigned a week or two ago and still beat some people? what a silly activity rate this month.
I would like it to be known that Wally voted on 10 forum votes and not 5 as shown in the above image.
Additionally, very few of my posts are less than 100 characters in length.
On the 25th vote for the most active Congress member, vote Cleaver.
Elect Grant, for the people.
Rolo needs to pick it up a bit
Whoops, you're right Wally. Not sure how that happened. If what I suspect happened actually did, then take 5 off your discussion posts and add it to your vote posts
Indeed.
@Armour144 - Nah, it seems that the 5 votes are simply missing. I had 131 posts made in the Open/Closed Doors sub-forums (that includes 10 votes). It's all good though, 5 isn't anything to worry about.
Nice work Armour
@Armour144, I know we don't seem to agree on much, but you did a very good job here! Nice work.
It looks like of all 30some congress people we had about 14 that were active. Everyone should write down the names of those who didn't vote and didn't participate and don't ever vote for them again, they apparently are just running to win gold...
I think we all know, that if I did have access I'd be right up there at the top with Wally
Vote Norsefire, the only party that assures congressional activity
Vote Wally Cleaver/Rolo Tahmasee on October 25
Lol @ Manna at 0
Lol @ me at 103
Good job Armour
Very enlightening.
