Canada, What Happened?
Auk Rest
At the beginning of February, I was being paid $10.5 CAD as a skill 5 worker in a diamond company. These wages slowly dropped until March 1st the wages were around $7.00 for a skill 5 land worker.
And now 12 days later, the wages are barely breaking 5? . Sure, these wage decreases were followed by price drop, I was perfectly fine with being paid $7.00 CAD when the guns were hovering $1.80-$2.00. So obviously three days ago when the minimum wage was proposed, I naturally thought it would pass and control the wage drops.
Nope. Apparently it wasn't passed. And now Jacobi trying to swing his power around with this next grain tax? I must admit I am upset at where the future will take us, but we will just have to see. I am happy to see Addy Lawrence take over Jacobi's position now, let's see what happens next, eCanada!

Go Addy!
I too was disappointed to see the minimum wage bill fail however I must admit that this is a commitment on the part of a few parties who have this in their platform and they galvanize themselves around this issue and I admire it.
Although it is expensive, it does afford babies the pursuit of happiness. I hope that there are jobs for those babies as back pressure is making the low skill jobs tight.

By tomorrow, @ $5.00 you will probably be overpaid lol.
