Are you crazy if you have been playing this game since the start.

Friggin "TinyPic" removed all my images from past news articles.

Wow, I’m about the same age as the actual game. Joshinius’ date of birth is August 9, 2008, “eRepublik Labs launched outside of beta phase on October 14, 2008”. I can actually remember; if my memory does not deceive me back to 2006 or 2007 seeing an online advert for the eRepublik game, offering invites to anyone wanting one. Of course I had to seize the opportunity of this novelty item and try to be one of first to sign up and be added the eRepublik cue.

I had actually forgotten about the whole affair until receiving an email from eRepublik a few months later offering me access to their game. Now remember back in 2008 “Massively multiplayer online game” MMOG / MMORPG had achieved a great deal of interest, the ability to join a website through you browser that offered its users the ability to interact in game play with anyone worldwide was fascinating and somewhat still in its infancy.

Yes I know there were many MMORPG games that were already established by this time. No argument on my part. Nonetheless, still the golden era of online browser gaming.

I must admit that after logging in with my newly furnished coordinates I was impressed with what the games GUI offered and enjoyed it immensely. But shortly after I became disenfranchised with some of the games concepts along with its online scene and decided to go into hiatus for a short period of time. However, once returning to eRepublik I never looked back and have been continuously playing and enjoying the game ever since.

As we all know time brings a great deal of change, some positive and obviously some negative, All I know is that time/change are a necessity in all aspects of life and therefore an important part of progress. (I do not know why I kept this paragraph in, but, it is what it is).

Note: You might be asking yourself why I bothered posting this little tid bit, and...looking back after spending a few minutes of my time writing it, I have to agree with you. However, I’m still kinda curious as to how many eRepublik citizens have been playing this game from it’s inception?? (not including Plato) and if so, does the game still interest you as it did when you first started??

Please feel free to respond in any lite you prefer, and also do not forget in the sanity of our interaction.

Thanks to one and all...
