Anyone else seasick?

Day 1,797, 17:02 Published in Ireland Ireland by Liam Tatlock

Well, it's been a rough old voyage this last few weeks, hasn't it? We've had the treasury robbed twice, leaving us with apparently exactly one brass farthing to fund Boot Camp and supplies. I probably shouldn't need to point out that these are the actions of cowards who have no love for this country. Even sadder is the fact that several well-known figures have been implicated and it's not been a good time to be a loyal eIrishman.

. . . . . . . . . .

Add to that, at a time when the country should be pulling together, we've had many, many instances of people attempting to make political capital out of the situation when everybody who has eIreland at heart should be doing their damnedest to rally together.

Sadly for me, I'm not your typical politician and I won't join in this bitchfest by naming names and, instead, I'll rely on the good people of eIreland to do the right thing at the upcoming Congress elections.

We've had many instances of foolish NE proposals, not to mention Presidential impeachment attempts this month, which I and other ILP members have voted against and managed to avoid causing even more chaos. I would ask the people to think very carefully before you cast your votes and not to vote for candidates who will cause us even more problems as we try to drag ourselves out of this mess.

No political party is perfect and we in the ILP accept that we could be better, which is why we are looking more closely within the party and I would ask anyone who feels members have a past to contact myself as VPP with their concerns and proofs.

In conclusion, I would ask you all to stand tall for eIreland and together we will rise again. Vote ILP!
