Footnotes
1 Many boycotted the Census[28]
2 The number of Italy shows only the number of the citizens of Albania in the country. Does not include significant numbers of ethnic Albanian immigrants from Kosovo, from other Balkan countries, the illegal immigrants and the local Arbëreshë Albanians.
3 Albanians are not recognized as a minority in Turkey. However approximately 500,000 people are reported to profess an Albanian identity. With those that have only partial Albanian ancestry and the Turkified ones the number is about 1,300,000, most of whom do not speak Albanian.

Those which are in turkey were used as a trade between turkey-serbia or turkey-greece,using Albanians, and calling them as turkish, but the only thing in common with turkish was only the religion...but we do no use the religion like they use,we don't care about religion before our MOTHERLAND,which came 1st 🙂
This is what make us different, all balkan's countries call themselfs religions countries,if you have their religion, you have their nationality...in Albania is totally different 🙂 We use the words "inshallah" or "mashallah" which are turkish or arabian(I don't know),used in religion,we use those words as phrases, spelling like we see "ishalla" or "marshalla" and these words are used by orthodox and catholic Albanians too...so we don't use those words in base of religion, but as phrases, which are here after the occupation of Osman Empire for more then 500 years.
I took the using of those words as example.
We have the minority in greece and fyrom too(not accepted by these countries),which speak Albanian, but they don't accept that they are Albanian, only because they have greeks or fyromians religion. But you will ask how they learn Albanian language...By their parents and grand-parents,because there are not school which use Albanian language for minority there...but in Albania,we have schools which use the greek language for minorities 🙂
but at the end,we are still,ALBANIANS...no matter of the religion...we don't care...ALBANIA comes 1st,always!
