I am so sorry I just wrote and wrote. So, warning this is the length of War and Peace!

Dear eIndia,

Whoa what a close election! 😛

I am pleased to announce the end of the May term and the beginning of the reign of Octavius Dryst. It was a wonderful month to serve as Head of Ambassadors and I know I pushed them hard which I regret. They did just wonderful work and they tried so hard. Unfortunately, exams came up for many of them and they went inactive. Despite the appearance of bust, the program still has a heartbeat and it is a strong one at that. I was pleased to find out DonMogul will succeed me as Head of Ambassadors. He is very worthy of the post and I know we will be seeing great things from him and the program.

I would like to thank Alector for asking me to serve in his administration and being pretty cool. I told Chrxstos once (before he was banned) “it was only a few weeks ago that Alector and I were savagely arguing with each other and look we work just fine together.” I honestly think forgiving and understanding one another is always the greater road taken though many times it is difficult to do so. Sometimes we must swallow our pride for the greater benefit of the larger community we share and serve. Awesome job bro.

The new Emperor of the Galactic Empire Octavius Dryst has requested that I serve as the Minister of Defense which I accepted and has conferred upon me the title Grand Admiral of the eIndian Imperial Armada and I will continue to serve the post I previously served in Alector’s government: Minister of Tomatoes. I am thankful and entirely grateful to serve in this new administration and I will work hard so that the Indian Army will rise to heights unseen before! We will build a new Camelot and I am confident in our team’s ability to build it.

Octavius and I have a long history tracing back 3 years to when we were in Ireland. He is my bro and this Presidency has been well overdue. I used to/still joke that the day either of us were elected President, anywhere, it would be a drastic mistake, ironically no one ran against him haha. Those were just jokes; he will be an amazing President, and his Presidency will be one that will be retold in Arthurian undertones (I got dibs on Merlin). I know it because I trust him from our many travels around the world.

We first met a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away: eIreland. We both were eBorn there about two and a half years ago for me he was considerably older by a few months. Eventually I was Party President of an Irish Party called Eire Aontaithe and he was the Party President of the oldest and largest party at the time Irish Union Party. We were rivals but friendly rivals because my party was not that big.... We both left Ireland around the same time but for different reasons. He went to New Zealand and I went to the UAE. Both were new countries and were under PTO threat. We kept in contact and New Zealand looked PTO’d by Serbians and there was still a fighting chance in the UAE when I ascended to the top of the ATO group there. Russians from the Mafia Military Unit had roughly ⅔ of the country in their control. I asked Octavius to come over and help. He did. We fought it out there for a few months and for a moment it looked like we had won when Mafia and its allied Mercenary group FAS (First Anime Squad) had a large amount of players banned in one day. They gave up and sold the CP to a Greek and let in a bunch of Serbians. Well, the Greeks left and the Serbians stayed. We lost.

It was at that point after hanging out on #India because it was alive when I was up (I am a night owl) that I decided to go to India and Octavius came right behind me. We fell in love with the country and its people immediately. It was fun, it had better bonuses, and most of all it wasn’t PTO’d. I believe we came when Timberjack was President followed by Anant (now Lord Bernin). That’s when Anant tried to organize a training war with Pakistan haha that turned into a very real war. We fought like hell but we were mostly occupied, Kualkerr just had too much influence in Serbia. Sharry became CP; China invaded Pakistan; we were free. You know the story.

After Sharry came Graf Sprat as CP, but it was under Maverick the story continued. Octavius and I had been in India for a few months then and had gotten to know the powers that be and we were asked to serve in cabinets. Maverick asked me to be his MoFA that term; I really enjoyed being around Mav, he was and still is brilliant in foreign affairs and had some top notch trolling skills that reminded me of Ireland. Basically, after that term we truly integrated into eIndian society. Octavius served as MoFA for HemanathanKumar’s first term (AND HIS COMPUTER BROKE!!!!! LOL thanks to Hemanathan for reminding me of that) and I served as MoF. Around that time was when the country was thrown into complete chaos over politics. Looking back, that was an omen of further strife to come in eIndia resulting in many of eIndia’s greatest and oldest players to leave the country. Actually, I left the game and two clicked for about 3 months from February to April. Octavius was bored so he ran off to Canada which I left for as well, then we both went to Ireland for a bit. We both missed India so much which resulted in us coming back to India late April. Alector was elected CP and he asked Octavius to serve as MoIA and then he came to fetch me within a week to serve as Deputy MoFA and Head of Ambassadors. I found it to be a pretty awesome term and definitely one that I will remember.

We have served India for a long time and we look to paint our masterpieces this term. Usually when politicians run for office they make grand promises of a better tomorrow, but what’s different this term is, we aren’t politicians exactly. We are here to have fun, play the game, of course doing it in a kickass fashion, and, that is what we intend on doing this term. We must not forget that that is a game, and that we come here to escape reality and enjoy the relationships we make and maintain. We must not forget that or this “game” becomes a burden and that’s no fun. What’s the fun of a game with more rules than state laws? Or people telling you what you can or cannot do? That’s not acceptable in my book.

I had actually written this article for this last point before the above wall of text. I know I troll a lot on IRC. I am just having fun and I don’t mean much that I say. Lately, I feel like my playful/trolling attitude has gotten to some people or some don’t view me as a serious leader. I am sorry for this and because I don’t want that to happen because I serve a very important post as MoD so I am just gonna be very quiet and only have to answer/chat on what I have to on IRC. We will have fun in game like I wrote but it will be without me trolling around trying to liven up the channels.
