A love letter

Day 2,878, 03:54 Published in India India by Bholenath

Dear India,

It's been a day since you so unanimously chose me as your President by showing tremendous faith in my abilities. I sure hope that I won't let you down. I'm sorry for not having published this as soon you elected me yesterday - I ought to have. You deserve much more than a quick thank you.

We have already had some bursts of excitement in September with a lot of new players joining us (and many subsequently leaving) and with the Burning Base event which, besides the huge rewards, has greatly enhanced our ability to work as a team.

We have much more lined up for the October. The Mega Indian Article Writing Contest for starters. We plan to involve more citizens. There must be an involvement of more citizens. This game by itself soon turns boring - its mechanics are improperly aligned. We will fix this.

On the War front, we will be having some kind of a war soon - whether real or training. All of us will reap the sweet rewards.

You must have also seen my cabinet - a cocktail of old and new. I have carefully chosen them. Some of them will be wishing to become your CP / D soon. For that reason, it is the perfect platform for them to show themselves off and for you to judge them - do they deserve to become your future President or Dictator? Do not let them get away easily with their terms. I hope you find someone from my cabinet worthy enough.

Keep us on our toes, ask us difficult questions, criticize our policies, demoralize us on our failures, call for our resignation if we get lethargic, question our integrity, demand more articles from the cabinet and at the end of the day, if you think we have earned it, give us some love. Remember - your government is a reflection of you; it will only be so proactive as you are, India.

Wish me luck, my love.

Yours truly,
Bholenath
