Funeral Hymn

Ladies & gentlemen,

I have with great sorrow in my heart the duty to inform you all that former Irish President Mr. Padraig Pearse, formerly known as Irish_Rebel_Reborn & Padraig, has passed away.

Padraig lived a full life in eRepublik. During our nation's early days he was the lonely voice of Irish republicanism. Often shunned & mistreated the man would play an instrumental role in the Irish civil war, the third founding of the Irish Citizens Army, the removal of Poland from North American sole, the reunification of our country, the complete occupation of the United Kingdom amongst other national achievements & accomplishments.

I call upon the Government to hereby declare today Padraig Day & I encourage all Irish citizens to take part in a day of scamming in remembrance of a true eIrish hero.

Key figures all around the country have paid homage to our dear PP

Winston Hope Smith I remember when I first joined eRepublik. Padraig was there for me from day one, he donated gold to me many a times for training because I was too simple & spent all my gold on making my sense of humour dryer.

Mike Bane Whenever I had a problem irl or in erep Padraig was always there to lend a helping hand. He never once judged or made fun of me & always spoke to me with words that touched my very soul. I will always treasure our moments together, its safe to say that he saved me time & time again

MUFC/Don Croatia Being born into poverty I spent my life in a shanty down on the Bosnian border. Padraig changed that. He gave me a ride in the back of his lorry across Europe & into Ireland. He even gave me my first job making sammiches & tea for the boys in #eica. Padraig turned my life into something worth living. He saw through my skin colour & accepted me as an eIrishman. I will always look up to him.

Edna Savage I remember when a crude picture of myself circulated around the media & divided the country Padraig took the blame for it even though he was innocent. He did it so the community would unite & work together. He did it for the greater good. The man is a selfless hero. RIP brother

Dubhthaigh Whenever I was feeling down or lonely Padraig was there for me. He always knew what to say to me to put a smile on my face. When my irc account was hacked & people started getting banned off the national channel. Padraig warned me about it & advised the chat admins to remove the hacker from the channel. That awareness are what made him the man he was.

RIP
