It is time for me to write an article again! Let's see how long I can keep doing this without suddenly quitting the game. In this article I will keep things simple and give you the latest news of the eNetherlands!
Political News:
Presidential Elections:
The montly presidential elections took place last Saturday. Arcanic Mindje won the elections with only a difference of two votes between him and his opponent GEN. DE LA REY. Arcanic mindje had the support of his own patry, DemNL and of I&W, the party who delivered last month's president odan. The expectation is that not much will change. Much more it will be a continuation of the previous governments. If we take a look at the team of Arcanic, there are a lot of people in there who already had important spots in other presidential teams for the last few months. Shawtyl0w keeps his spot as vice President and will be for the eleventh time in a row part of the government. Henri XI also keeps his spot and remains Minister of Foreign Affairs. Gwom stays on as the loyal Minister of Information and the State Secretary of Defense in the government of odan, flo rida20 will keep his position. Arcanic Mindje himself is known in eNL as a foreign affairs expert, being part of a lot of FA teams in the past. Surprisingly, it is only his second time as Country President of the eNetherlands.
We say goodbye for now to Legendardisch as Minister of Home affairs. He will be replaced by odan. Also Trannsvaal resigned as Minister of Finance. odan will take over this position as well. Trannsvaal keeps doing his work as dictator though. There are also new people to this month's government. Jordic will be part of the Foreign affairs team again, after not being part of the government since he was CP himself (with the exception of advisor work). We also welcome to Fiona LNX, a new citizen of the eNetherlands! She will be also part of the FA team.
Party Presidential Elections:
The party presidential elections are coming up! It's almost the 15th of the month again. The least interested elections of the three elections we have, never gets a lot of attention, so that's the reason I highlight the elections this time. In ReL, VN, GPN and DemNL there is only one candidate, who in all cases already is party president right now. These parties will keep their course. It's not too late to run for party president, so if you want something to change, or just replace your current party president, you can still run for party president!
In the oldest political party of the eNetherlands, Iron & Wine, there is something to choose. This election will be between Jacen.Solo, the current party president, and odan, last month's country president. As far as there is information available, odan was already 22 times party president of I&W and is the big favorite to win the election. Jacen.Solo just finished his first term as Party president and will most likely not continue his office. But as much as odan won the party presidential elections of I&W in the past, he also lost almost the same amount of elections. Good luck to both of the candidates in this election!
International News:
New Orion HQ:
Orion has just published the new HQ for November 2016. The Secretary General of the alliance will be Loolie Drea from Cuba. For the eNetherlands we have Henri XI who will be the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Orion, Arcanic Mindje as one of the three deputy Secretaries of Foreign Affairs of Orion, and odan and Shawtyl0w will be advisors to the alliance. With four representatives only Cuba has more with six, so we can be assured the voice of eNL will be heard in the alliance. New citizens:
This month we can welcome three new citizens from foreign countries to our country!
Yhuseyin is known to us as former Iranion Minister of Foreign Affairs. He will maybe help in some political stuff and you can talk to him on IRC once in a while. He's also a good friend of Shawtyl0w. Welcome Yhuseyin to eNL!

Also any advice(s) to which party to join? Or all parties are unified (share the same goals, and vision of the future) so there is no real difference (and importance) which party to join?
They are all kind of the same. They are founded of course on different principles, but it doesn't really matter which party you're from. Everyone who is interested in politics and is active works together.
But I'll advice to join a party with active players, so there is also some internal activity. I can only speak for VN and DemNL who are active internally. I don't know about the other three parties.
I don't think they are all the same since there are two clear factions. I'd advise you to send a PM to the Party Presidents with your questions about what do you thing it's important and decide upon that. Anything that we can tell you will just be partially true 😛
indeed talk to the PP's and take a look at the members of the party, perhaps you have some friends or you notice someone you like. or perhaps the history/future of the party speaks to you.
What are your ambissions? What are you looking for?
There are differences between parties. Some parties are only active inside their own party. They do not really talk with other parties(not to my knowledge) and you will not see anything of them in the media.
Imo there are four parties that are interesting if you wish to be surrounded by active players.

You're right there are differences between parties, but not important differences. If you want to contribute to eNL with politics, it is the same road in every party. For example there are a lot of different opinions in some parties and you're not bound to have the same opinion as your fellow party members.
What I'm trying to say, it doesn't matter from which party you are, we (the active politicians) are all eDutch and trying to achieve the best for our country.
I'm sorry for making it maybe more complicated than it is 😛

well i only got on the ballot of pp because nobody had yet at that time. i'll be voting for jacen myself, but we will see what the party wants. in the end it doesn't really matter who will be pp, we discuss what the party does with each other anyways.
