Hello Ireland,
this is probably the most important MoFA article of the last two months and I’d really love whole Ireland to join the debate and discussion about these things. As you could see Admins has decided to add another change. You can find more about it HERE:

The main things considering eIreland are that our country is put under risk of getting PTO’d by some stronger Military Units. That’s the reason we need to think and find a way to protect ourselves. I’ve already proposed a new Ministry addition to our President. It would be the Ministry of Security. We would need to be careful about who are we letting in our country, we would have to watch over who controls our MU’s and we would need to take care of ourselves, find ourselves an allies who are willing to come over here and join us in the fight for our democracy, free speech and everything else we’ve had here so far. No matter how different our parties and groups are, all of us had eIreland in heart. Some foreign MU’s and groups wouldn’t be so gentle to us. We need to act as one and use all our skills and active people to make our country better and stronger.


There are several certain things we need to take care of:
-Finding ourselves an alliance
-Organising ourselves internally
-Have a baby boom






AN ALLIANCE QUESTION

As always, for a country of our size, deciding about alliances is very important, we can call it a crucial question. So far in our history, we’ve always been making a good choices long termly and I do hope we can make a good call again. We’ve been in EDEN, we’ve been in Aurora, two real alliances which got us many friends. We’re still in good relations with most of the countries of eWorld and we’re in great relations with all our neighbours and countries close to us. This is hard to accomplish, but we did it. No matter how many times the countries changed the alliances we’ve always kept the same friends.









Several days ago I’ve asked congress for an opinion about Ireland joining Pacifica.
Pacifica is an alliance made of Taiwan, USA, Finland, Russia and Latvia. Countries such as America, Mother Russia and Finland has always been our friends. USA is a regional friend we share a huge history with, Russians has always been there for us, I remember when we were conquering London how many Russian moved here and fought for us and we haven’t even asked them for help. Finland voted Yes on our application to join Asgard two years ago. Taiwan and Latvia are more or less uknown to eIreland, but I’m sure we’d become friends very soon.





As you can see it’s the alliance made of friends. What makes this alliance strong is being somewhat neutral in eWorld bipolar system. Neutral, but safe. They are in great position since they have some allies on both sides, Russia is pretty much proAurora, while USA is proAsteria. Finland is proAsgard and Latvia and RoC has their own friends too. Pacifica is highly organised alliance as we could see in the recent even of resources gathering. Most of them won lots of bonuses and had organised themselves. Even the smaller Pacifica members are being safe on the map. It means they do care for each other.

Pacifica is also kinda regional alliance for us, we have border with USA, Finland is just few regions away, Russia isn’t that far too, same as Latvia, the only far away country is Republic of China (Taiwan). We could make some deal with United Kingdom to give us a pass to Scandinavia and help our allies if needed, of course if UK would share the same enemies with us in future. Anyway, my point is, another advantage of Pacifica except being highly organised and in a good diplomatical position is being a regional alliance for us. Another thing which makes Pacifica a desirable alliance for us is them being a small one. Small alliance, but still strong and cooperative with others are the future of this game, we could rely on Pacifica, we could give our opinion about where’s the alliance going.

In Pacifica we could keep our old allies close, we could be like Russia, they kept their allies near, they still have many friends in exAurora and exSirius countries. This makes Pacifica a desireable solution for our country. In case of us being attacked by some crazy MU, we would have the alliance’s protection. In the same time we would be able to keep our good relations with the countries we've spent most of the time in this game with.





At this moment, there’s no other alliances nor I see an alliance coming soon. At least not one which is made of our friends, we could shift for 100% on the other side, but I doubt anyone in eIreland would actually agree on it. I don’t see an alliance made of exAurora and exSirius countries coming soon, even if it does come, I doubt eIreland would be offered a place from the start and I simply hate to let us end up in some small proAlliance made of the countries we’ve never had any relations with. Our size and our damage aren't so "important". Similar thing happened when we wanted to join Sirius and we didn’t had invitation to join the main, core countries. Something like this would probably happen again, because most of the countries nowadays see alliances aren’t for smaller countries. We’d have to found one again like we did with Aurora, but Aurora won’t happen again neither. So, it’s not an option for us I’m afraid.

Having no real alternative, Pacifica is something we need to think about and make an informative, good decision.
