20K! (High School is finished.)

Day 2,556, 01:06 Published in South Africa South Africa by Saffa Manne

I recently reached 20K str and stopped to think about the long journey to get here. It hasn't been easy but I feel like I've graduated from High School. As you know eSA doesn't have the best player retention ratio, especially considering the circumstances:

The only reason I've stuck it out is because individuals in eSA have helped me out. These are my teachers:

Angel with Attitude was the first one to reach out to me after I applied for a job and then mentorship in the mentorship program:

Since then I've had input from many of the eBallies, some still here, others abroa😛 Claudio donated a large sum to help me improve my training grounds (THE most important thing to do when you start out kids!), Myigiyoda made me feel stupid corrected me when needed, Enriche got me involved in getting tournaments going in the eSAAF, Grimstone was my financial 'go-to-guy' when training ground upgrade discounts came around (THE most important bonus there is kids!), Niffobti showed me how to be patriotic and have fun doing so and Wilpanzer gave me my first ever donation of weapons when I started.

Now I've upgraded all my training grounds, improved my income through production, got involved in programs, dabbled in politics (YP party is the future!), helped out here and there. I'm all grown up now so what next?

Well, kids, please note that when you get here you're going discover your gold monster:

This monster will be your driving force if you plan to get anywhere in this game. Strength is everything, and to maintain your strength you will need to feed that gold monster. I believe the gold monster is the reason the Lazo's are here. Each one of them has a huge gold monster that drive's them. That's why they're here, to feed their monsters.

When the food runs out the monster will consume them and they will die. Simple!

Enough of them. I have an announcement....

Saffa Manne is going to Varsity! Yup, there comes a time when all school kids get their matric and leave for Varsity. There they learn their trade, graduate and return to make a difference in their home town by opening a business or working in local industries. Well, that's where I'm going. To Varsity, to jol stukkend!

So long kids!
