A very good point that should be addressed...

1) Gold won by the citizens should be used for government projects and ideas for the people provided through services of the appropriate ministries.
2) Financial reports usually are kept low-key and for cabinet and congress members a like. The whole point is if you want to contribute, you are to run for Senate to gain that privilege, access and ability to give ideas on funding when necessary.

I may be wrong on my second point but it's what I believe to be correct.

That is a fair point, but I feel that there should be more/greater communication between the government/cabinet/congress towards the public of Australia, who like displayed above, have little or no understanding as to what goes on..... as I would currently describe it as 'closed doors'.

1) If government projects include giving it to other country mercs then no thanks, because you might be in denial but that is the #1 thing we spend most on. So your "government projects" idea just sounds like a bullshitter.

2) So we are all paying taxes out the ass just for it to be kept a secret? I dunno what world you live on but everything you said is very dictator-like to me. The fact i have to run for congress just to find out some basic info is beyond belief you would even say that.

well we are kinda in a war...so i imagie a fair amount will go to the war effort and then the rest we will use for other things in the future..the point is we have more gold in our treasury to use if we need it

as for the budget you can see it on the forums (this months hasnt been published yet)

government is currently trying to figure out how to supply MUs to supply their members as of now it obviously isn't perfect but we are still working on it now will some of the gold we have won be sent to the people somehow? its possible i wouldn't mind but i am not going to say we are doing something and look like a liar if it doesn't happen

Well Nicky, there will never be an MPP with Indonesia, nor an NAP, it's not because of us in Australia it's simply an entire eCountry (Indo) that is puffed up with insane arrogance and so far I have not met an Indo in game that wasn't arrogant and dismissive of us, they have the audacity to call out continent "South Indonesia" there can obviously never be peaceful co-existence with a people who refuse to even recognise our existence. So you pretty much just said that our treasury is pouring its resources into mercs hands! So technically you could consider that hard earned gold completely useless.

I would rather "pour" that gold into something useful for eAUS. Buying mercs to defend land only to be wiped anyway is hardly a smart tactic.

Icetek, we can't do anything about Indonesian attitudes towards us, we will have to fight every day and having regions is FAR better than having none. to wake up to no regions day after day is a sure way to send one leaving to find a better game that they can enjoy, it's not just about recruiting but also KEEPING those we have which is hard enough considering how many eAussies can't even stand to see each other or to talk.

My question is why are there rarely if ever any DoD orders? We used to have them published and updated daily. I realize that most of us know to fight for Aus when there is a battle on but what about when there isn't?

unfortunately last month our DoD team was less active than in previous months, myself and flatty kept Aus going DoD wise

ive taken on the MoD role but have to sort out the mess that was left, so i havent gotten around to publishing new orders. apologies
