[UKRP] Congress March 2017 - Balanced and Effective

Once more it is time to elect our Government for the next month of Congress (Parliament).

This term the UKRP have mustered a record list of some SEVENTEEN candidates who have offered their time and energy to serve in Congress. This demonstrates the willingness of the UKRP as a whole to engage in the business of Government!

Following on from our perfomance supercharged outing in the February Congressional Elections, it gives me great pleasure to introduce our Candidate Listing for the March 2017 elections.

In all the time I have served as a member of the UKRP - I have seldom seem such a distinguished and experienced group of Party Members who have put their names for a chance to serve on the eUK Congress.

Without further ado - let me introduce our candidates to you:

1. WookieO

The most cuddly of our Congressional candidates, Wook is a stalwart within Parliament - and is alway there directing operations. He is currently Speaker of the House.

2. Sir Humphrey Appleby

With public service ingrained in his DNA, Sir Humphrey has an impressive career history in which he has filled every post in eUK Government service, from Country President to Parilamentary Kitchen Porter. He is currently filling the Minitry of Defence role.

3. Addaway

One of our more colourful and energetic members, Addaway can always be relied upon to inject a bit of fun into proceedings. Sometimes controversial, his actions contribute much to the interest and entertain levels within eUK.

4. Dave Trenga

The big silent type, Dave is a man with a long and distinguished history. Though not loud in Congress, he is always there when a bit of clout is needed!

5. Certacito

Despite being of almost unbelieveble age, dear old CertaCito continues to serve on both in Congress and the eUK Military. A rock of stability in what can be a pretty stormy and unpredictible virtual world, CC will always be there to steady the ship and to do the right thing. Observers have lost count of how many terms of Congress he has faithfully served the UKRP.

6. stev56

Maintaining a balance between the old fags and the younger members, sev56 bring a bit of new blood to our Congressional lineup. He is bright and full of energy - we expect to see good things from him in the future.

7. Rob Wallace

Rob is another relatively new candidate who has much to offer in the future. He joins our line up with the task of re-invigorating our team with new ideas and energy.

8. Kapten Johnson

Another solid and reliable member of the UKRP Team, our Kapten has seen extensive Government service, and has represented eUK in the Sirius coalition. A man of huge experience and considerable military experience, he continues to be a core member of the UKRP.

9. Lionbeard

Don't be fooled by the boyish youthful looks - he is actually quite old (almost 21)! As one of the slightly more vocal members of the team, Lionbeard has made a big impact on the Congressional platform.

10. CptChazbeard.

A strategic thinker we has led the eUK through some glorious times, he is quick, witty and exudes a sense of fun. Although sometimes he does not get everything right, on balance he is a huge asset to the Party and to the eUK!

11. Mo Kushla

With 17 Terms in Congress, Mo continues to serve the eUK and the UKRP with dedication and energy. She is currently a member of the MoD Team.

12. Prince Harry

A colourful and sometimes contraversial character, Harry can be relied upon to entertain the population with his sheer unpredictability. Whilst not being on everyone's Christmas Card List, he does contribute a huge amount to the entertainment value of Erepublik. He is also pretty handy militarily - and can always be relied upon to generte large amounts of damage when required (and sometimes when not required).....

13. Death Jester

With two terms in Congress, DJ is one of our future rising stars.

14. hurry up joker

Although he has been around in Erepublik since 2010, he has stayed very much in the shadows. We are gradually coaxing him out into the bright sunlight where he can make good use of his strength, both in Parliament and on the battlefield.

15. GrEnDeLi

GrEnDeLi is one of our industrious farmers who quietly beavers away in the background producing goods for sale on the eUK market.

16. Dnouser

One of our solid back benchers, Dnouser is taking a little break this term in order to return to the fray next Congress.

17. GrowUpChazz

A character who in the past has had his fair share of controvosy - he remains one of the most energetic and active citizens of the eUK. He is worth his weight in Gold Wonka bars. You normally hear him approaching before you see him....
