[UKPP] Sir Nick - Party President

Day 1,913, 17:50 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Nick Griffin

Dear UKPP Members & Friends,

As you might well know, I have thrown my hat into the ring for today's Party President election.

I'm not going to go into a long list of promises about what I plan on doing as I know you'll want something short and sweet, like an Indian Takeaway with Onion Bahji's and Naan Bread.

Recruitment

I do plan on picking up the pace of recruitment and retention. However, even with the eUK top 2 recruiters, it is still difficult these days to retain as many people as we used to. This is down to poor economics... but I won't go into that now (got a good rollocking off the admins).

Congress

I will continue to support Newer UKPP Players' chances of getting a congress seat. I will go beyond Lancers 50/50 (old/new) selection.

I will continue to offer them the utmost freedom in who they wish to allow into the country > although I am prepared to give them a bloody good rollocking if they make a decision without first thinking about it logically.

Country President

Personally, I love seeing UKPP members reach that top-spot in the eUK. It allows us to put forward our policies at a national level. I was the PP of the UKPP when BigAnt was elected for 2 consecutive terms.

It is, however, down to UKPP members to decide who we support as a Party. New Era made a fuss when Ricardo Feist was elected because they claimed that I, as PP, promised that we'd support them this term. However, I always stick to the UKPP age-old technique of party balloting, and made it known to them that we cannot promise support to anyone.

Grande Meeting

I will be asking the party to join us in IRC (chat room) for a grande meeting between all members of the Party. This will be to get back to our party's routes of creating policies through meetings.

People will be able to ask things, suggest new policies, and talk about the future direction of the Party.

Thank you kindly,
Sir Nick Griffin.
