The Congress Elections are over and it all went smoothly without any problems faced over the threat of a PTO, thanks to the great teamwork which saw people from opposite parties moving across to help block seats. There may have been a bit of drama later in the day, but overall the election went smoothly and was a real credit to people's hard work. If you got elected congratulations, though for those that missed out we offer our commiserations and hope for better luck next month if you decide to run. Now we get to look forward to Presidential Elections on the 5th July. \o/

If over the last few days you were seeing a few Irish Resistance Wars spring up and, in some cases, we lost them, do not fear as they will be returned to their rightful owner very soon. The United Kingdom. Their attempts it must be said were not valiant and brave because they have gained nothing out of it, in-fact they are now worse off. We all need something to make up our week, and as it's a Sunday I'm going to treat you. Have a look at how many Congress Members each of the top 5 Irish parties have. Can anyone else see a rather repetitive pattern appearing here? Yes, that's right, they have no Congress Members. So sit back, make a cup of tea, dunk those Rich Teas, and watch the Irish begin to vanish off the map yet again.

In the last article we saw Gambit8's newspaper, the Gambit Lowdown win a a Silver Newspaper award. Today we are very sorry to say that there is not a newspaper award today, but do not fear, we have an Article Award! Who is this lucky person I hear you saying, well it's actually a new person called Adam Susan for his delightful article about Starting Erepublik. Well done Adam!
