[UKGov] Two steps forward, none back.

Day 1,326, 18:21 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Hey there new guy! Since you’re reading this I assume you’re interested in getting more involved in the game,or at least learning more about the game mechanics. 🙂

This is sadly farther than most people get,so to ensure that you have all the help you can to get involved I’m writing this article!

The most important thing you’ll need to do is sign up to our forums! You’ll find them here : http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/index.php

This is a major step in your getting involved!Lots of the communication that goes on between people takes place on the forums. 🙂 After you’ve made an account on the forums there’s a few things I’d like you to look at. The first thing I’d like you to look at is the boatload of free food you can receive from 3 of the top 5 parties,ESO,UKRP,and TUP.

They’ve all got threads on the forums to help out new folks that go to the forums with free food.🙂 To take part in this merely go the the threads found here :

Simply say you’re new and in need of food include a link to your citizen and they’ll be filling your plate and stacking it high. 😛

Another thing I’d like to direct your attention to is a newly implemented program from the Ministry of Finance,it gives funds for FREE iron companies for people who have less than 2 player built companies and free land. This does not include the 4 companies you start with of course. 😛

So,say you have 1,2,or even 3 free spaces - now say they’re all free iron companies!😃 Each one at current market prices will net you 25 GBP each day. 🙂

Here’s a link to it : http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=588&t=69526

Another thing I’d like you to do is start a thread in the introduction’s forum introducing yourself to the community that frequent the forums.🙂 Give you a chance to meet a few friendly people.

Now I’d like to take the time to speak to you about your job options!
Now,ordinarily you have three options I believe, those being the army, PCP's communes, and a job from the job market. But,as this is aimed at new players you have another option to go and be a part of the Unity Community Project,or UCP.

The UCP is a program offered by TUP that is for players less than a month old. It offers wages at cost price,as well as mentoring and a weekly gift of weapons and food. I advise you to take this opportunity to join on,as you’re only allowed in the program till you’re 2 months old.😒

Here’s a link to the article, and if you should decide to join on just message Talon Karrde.

Another option available to you is PCP’s Communes. You’ll join a group of people that also work in them and take home an even share of everything that’s produced by the group each week. The amount of food you get depends on how much the group makes, and how many days you’ve worked. The formula is total production/total days worked x the amount of days that you worked. So,say the group made 3000 food that week, and the group worked 30 times in that week meaning each person would get 100 food for each day they worked, you worked 5 days that week, you get 500 food.To join in the communes contact this guy

Now,your other two options are the army and taking a job from the job market.

The army is an interesting deal for new players,as instead of a daily wage you get daily supplies for working in an army company. So,rather than get your 160 GPB wage for working each day someone in the army will send you 320 wellness worth of food and 2 Q5 tanks,or just 5 Q5 tanks.

For more info here’s a link to an article recently released,I’m sure you can PM the author of said article and get more info if you like. Army info

If you’d like to sign on with the army there’s a link in the article,or just push this one.😛 Join the army With a job off the market you work get paid pay your taxes and go home, nothing much to explain about it really. The taxes are instantly taken out of your salary.

As always,if you have any questions you’re more than welcome to message me,or any other member of the MoHA team. Links to mentoring and the library project are at the top of the article. (the image has links embedded 😃)

Here’s a link to a great bit of recent information that you may find helpful. 🙂

It’s written by a new player as well! Perhaps I’ll be including a link to your article next aye? good infos
