[UKGov] Step By Step: Fighting

Day 1,166, 22:24 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office
This is a public service announcement from the Ministry of Communications. Don’t forget to vote and subscribe. We need your votes!

In this article, we will explain the basics of fighting, and how to fight smart. We will also take into consideration the Natural Enemy module and how this affects you. It is important to know how to fight correctly, or else an error could become very costly to you.

Step 1:
Check the Ministry of Defence’s orders. This will provide you with the official orders for the public. Their newspaper articles start with [MoD], but it important that you subscribe to the newspaper so you don’t have to search for the latest article. Also, the Prime Minister can choose the “Battle of the Day”, which can be seen at the home page at the top of the list of recent and/or current battles.

Step 2:
Make sure you have enough supplies so that you won’t lose Health. You must make sure you have enough food and money for additional food before you fight. Each time you fight, you lose 10 Health, and if you do not have any food and can’t afford any, you’re in trouble. In rare cases, there are hospitals in which you can heal at, in which you can during the beginning of a new mini-battle. However, due to their rarity, they only last a few seconds. You can use this handy website to locate where hospitals will be worldwide. Even if you fight in a battle with a hospital, make sure you have enough food to heal your health, since you might not be able to use it since it is used up so quickly. Not being able to recover lost health is one of the biggest problems that newer players encounter, but this mistake can be easily avoidable if you know how much health you can regain.

Step 3:

Analyse the current situation in the battlefield. The bar at the top indicates which side is winning the current mini-battle. Your side is always blue and on the left. The side that has more than 50% at the end of a mini-battle wins. The crowns on either side show how many mini-battles that side has won. To win the entire battle, a side must win 8 mini-battles. Each mini-battle is 2 hours long, so the entire battle can be as short as 16 hours or as long as 30 hours. So, before you fight, check how your side is doing. It is best not to fight until the final 15 minutes. There is not much of a point in fighting if your side is clearly winning, which is why you should wait until the end to see what the current situation is.

Step 4:
Needless to say, to fight, press the big red button that says fight. Your enemy is randomly generated, but will have a strength that is similar to yours. Depending on how much strength, health and what type of weapon they have, it could take 1 to 3 fights to defeat them; usually it is two. Unless you have an infinite amount of gold, which you don’t, unless you’re that one guy who took his dad’s credit card, do not click the instant defeat button. That just sucks up all your gold. I would also recommend not using weapons, unless you have a lot of money. They can be expensive, and while they give you more damage, it is not always worth it. As mentioned in step 2, you lose 10 health per fight. At the bottom left, there is a food button so you can recover your health. Click that, or alternatively, you can click the blue consume food button on the very left of your screen. You can consume up to 300 health a day, and after that, I would not fight again. It is not worth using the health kit, as it gives you 10 health for 0.5 gold; buying food is much cheaper.

Step 5:

After you have defeated an enemy, the page above appears, showing you the stats of your fight. It shows how much war influence, or damage you have made, which is added to the overall amount in the bar above. You will also get some rank points, which after accumulating enough, you will be promoted a military rank meaning you will do some extra damage. Also, it shows how much experience you got in the battle. You gain 1 XP for each fight, so in this example, the enemy was defeated in 2 fights. If you are fighting against your Natural Enemy, you will gain a 10% bonus amount of war damage. The eUK’s current Natural Enemy is Canada. While on the topic of Natural Enemy, you also gain a 10% bonus amount of strength while training if your country has a current natural enemy. More info on strength and training can be found here.
