Dear Romanians,

In the past few weeks it seems that a malcontent portion of the eGreek populace has been publishing articles in your media and buying votes, attempting to sway or even trick you and others into involving yourself in internal eGreek politics.

On behalf of them I would like to apologise, I am truly sorry for their actions and I regret them attempting to involve foreigners in eGreek internal affairs.

Furthermore I am slightly embarrassed by there actions. eGreece has fought many wars in the past, and whether we won or lost, whether we were victorious or got erased, we always did this with our dignity. We never cried about it and we never begged for anything. As a long time ally of eGreece, eRomania knows firsthand that eGreece is an honourable and dignified nation. This reputation was not built up over 6 months or even a year, but is the result of over half a decade of external affairs. Unfortunately it seems that in order to promote their own personal agenda a few people have thrown out this dignity.

It has been a long time since I involved myself with the foreign affairs in eRepublik, but a long, long time ago I was a member of EDEN HQ. Occasionally country presidents would ask of the Alliance to send people so that their opponent (usually an anti-EDEN person) wouldn't win an election. The answer was always the same, and was a golden rule, "We do not involve ourselves in the internal affairs of our allies." This was a source of pride, even if was against the alliances own benefits. Hopefully "the new era" of players still upholds this value.
