[Sluagh] Éire - A Military State

Day 3,051, 07:00 Published in Ireland South Africa by Dante Boss

Citizens of the Republic,

There has been much debate over the past two days about what exactly I seek to be should I be elected into the Presidential Office. At first I had a vision for what I wanted but upon further reflection, reading comments and taking greater consideration into what is best for eIreland I have come to a final conclusion.

Ireland needs a Social-Military Dictatorship.

Our nation has become weak, soldiers are not encouraged to fight and the value of Ireland as a nation has been diminished. Looking at this weeks statistic - the second and third best Military Units are made up of solo fighters. This is devastating and really puts into question - is Ireland capable of being militarily significant?

Politics has died a painful death, the game has shifted entirely to a military focus and Ireland has been behind the curve in adjusting to this. Politics is still rooted firmly in our foundations and for what, to appease role players. The past few months we have been led by such role players and I ask what do we have to stand for it? These ePoliticians bear similarities to real life politicians and have failed to deliver on promise after promise. Politics in this game isn't even politics anymore - it is a popularity contest. We need this to end.

Ireland needs leadership, direction and stability.

This is what I can provide but we can only do so if we rid ourselves of party politics.

Voting me will result in:

[1] Installation of me as Dictator
[2] Greater military spending
[3] Increase in social activities

While this may be "unconstitutional", it is what I believe to be necessary for the betterment of Ireland. Politics introduced a constitution, politics has been trying to replace that constitution for four months. Politics has resulted in there still being no new Constitution.

The last Dáil vote recorded a vote of 3-2. This is politics. I then came into question of how I received such information - it was against the rules of politics to let the people know what little activity had taken place in the Dáil threads.

[MILITARY POWER]

Ireland used to be a nation of phenomenal military strength for her size.

-We have invaded nations such as Poland, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Brazil, Austria and Slovenia.

-We have defended ourselves from large foes such as Poland, United Kingdom, Canada, Porutgal, China, Republic of Moldova, Slovenia and Argentina.

And now we struggle with Lithuania. This is a concern and one we need to end, we need more fighters and we need to encourage more fighters to come join our ranks.

I am proposing my military budget for next month to be 600,000 IEP.

That is a lot of money but the State has it. I wish to use this money to get the nation active, fighting and most importantly winning.

~Supplies will be given to fighters who follow Government orders and strike in battles where they are needed.

~CO will be provided to Irish fighters who fight and work to turning battles where our allies need us.

~Loyalty to our nations revival will be rewarded

With cooperation, coordination and direction we can restore what we once were. This monthly budget is not a once off, but under my influence it will become a consistent reality.

This new Military State will not be oppressive, it will not be the death of the nation.

It will restore Ireland to glory.

Trust in me, trust in Ireland,
~S
