מבצע "צוק איתן" הוא המבצע הארוך ביותר שהיה למדינת ישראל ואף כונה לרב מלחמה.

שבעים ושלוש אנשים, שמתוכם שישים ושבע חיילים, חמישה אזרחים ועובד זר מתאילנד נהרגו במהלכה.

אלפים נפצעו, בניהם אזרחים, וכל תושבי עוטף עזה נאלצו לנטוש את בתיהם לתקופה לא ברורה.


ומה בעזה היה?

בערים בית חנון ובית עיאה לא נותר זכר והערים הושמדו

מספר הפצועים בישראל כמעט משתווה למספר ההרוגים בעזה שמתוכם רבים מחבלי חמאס.

מספר לא ברור של הרוגים חפים מפשע שחלקם נהרגו על ידי החמאס משום שלא הסכימו לתת נשק ואת בניהם בשביל המלחמה.

ויותר מעשרת אלפים פצועים.

אבל לא רק הרוגים היו אלא היו גם סיפורים יוצאי דופן של מוסריות.

אחד הסיפורים הוא של לוחם מסייעת חמישים של הנח"ל.

באחד ימים של המבצע הם קיבלו פקודה לירות על משגרי רקטות של החמאס בעזרת הטילי גיל.

אחד הלוחמים שלפני זה קיבל הרבה תשבוחות על ידי מפקדים שהוא הכוון הטוב ביותר בצה"ל.

ירה על משגר ולאחר שראה שיש אנשים שחמאס שמו ליד המשגר הוא הסיט את הטיל משום שזה טיל מתכוונן.

הטיל פגע בשטח פתוח ולאנשים לא קרה כלום אך לאחר מכן המפקד מחק את הסרטון אך הדירוג הגבוה הבין שהסרטון מאוד יעזור למדינה ושיחזר את הסרטון.

לאחר מכן אותו לוחם קיבל מצטיין מבצע ושוחרר מהצבא באיחור של חודשיים וחצי.

למרות אותו סיפור המבצע גרם להרבה בכי וגם קצת שמחה מעולה בעצב.

השלום עוד לא הגיע אבל אנחנו נקווה שיגיע בקרוב.
