Hi all,
Just a final article regarding regarding the end of the term, just to keep you up to date on the happenings around here.
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone in my cabinet this month. You have all done a stellar job for which I am hugely grateful. A special shout out to the DoFA this month who have been non-stop and have put us in a very strong position going into next month. Also a big thank you to everyone who has donated for the Govt this term. Especially Ranger, Wyvernjack, Hugh and Claire, and every one else out there. Your donations are appreciated, no matter how big or small.
There has been some confusion as to what is going on with the alliances. It seems that there will be 2 main alliances, and a 3rd NAP alliance (effectively). No final decisions have been made as to which alliance we are going into, but we have made positive steps to moving into an alliance which I hope will happen within the first week of the next term. It is hard to negotiate around the end of a term, as many CP's don't want to commit towards something their successor has to manage. Thanks everyone for responding to the James Rellori's survey article. It is clear that we as a nation do not seem to have a strong preference either way, so I will make a decision in conjunction with the congress and the NES Senate as to which way we go when joining the alliance.
Speaking of the NES, I will be asking Party leaders of the top 5 Non-PTO parties to nominate "up to 4" members of their parties to participate in the NES (Non-Elected Senate). This will be used for general voting for budgets and other things. Even if you are in a party, where the leader has been replaced by a multi, you will not be excluded from this process, and you will have an opportunity to participate in this. All that is expected of you is that you participate in discussions on the forum when available. I will contact PP soon enough with details.

I suppose it's all relative, I can't see any good in anything to do with eRepublik these days, it was only good when Poland got off it's selfish butt to help for a very short time. I notice Poland has hundreds of regions, it could do the decent thing and lend us a territory because we will never have another congress ever at this rate.
We'd need an airstrike mate and you can't do that anyway without a region. Its not too bad at the minute because 2 out our top 5 political parties have a PTO President so we need to make sure we oust those first
quite a good month considering the challenges Aus faces, i would suggest trying to be more IRC active for next month though, that is key in FA and government activity in general

Ok Greg, just spout your hate for people that have in the past done something for us and have not asked us for anything in return. There is only one person you should be pissed at, and that is Plato for changing the game mechanics, he is the only reason why we are wiped, without his interference Chile would possibly still be wiped, and we would be thriving thanks to our allies support
Oh don't worry Mick I hate Plato very much, I would like to meet him in person so I could bust his head in. I know Plato is the main cause and that is why I am angry, the guy is obviously someone who hates Australia and is obviously jealous .

When is the game admin going to allow me to fight for Australia without forcing me to spend 160 AUD EVERY GODDAMN DAY ?. It just isn't worth it to go all that way for all that cost just to be in a battle we lose 83 to NOTHING. Chilean faggots have got it all their way, I hate those scum.
If you stay in Argentina when there is no RW it won't cost so much. They share most of our MPPs and we can fight for allies from there.
I like Mick Skitz, even voted for him so I am not trying to give him a hard time, but to me there is all negatives and no positives left for us. Maybe someone can shed some positive light to me.
Unfortunately there has been ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to get our regions back this term. This is due to alliance breakups and a few other factors. We say this term has been good because we've spent a lot of time informing the public, communicating with allies and other nations and the Cabinet has been active and DOING stuff.
I think the admin of the game hate Australia, for what reason i have no idea, how could anyone on earth hate this great country.
If Australia was full of rich gold buying players I'm sure that would change. At the moment the game Admin really only care about the bottom line for themselves, not to make a game that is fair and enjoyable for everyone that plays.

I was in the mood to fight Chile yesterday but there was no one fighting them, I didn't want to spend 160 AUD for a round trip to fight in a losing RW that usua;yy ends in a 83 to nil defeat. It would be nice to stay put and give them a kicking. BUT there was no one fighting against them.
