[PoTUS] I'm in a Glass Case of Emotion
Tyler Bubblar
I’d like to start by apologizing for my last few days of media silence. I have been traveling for a work training seminar the last two weeks, and the last 3 or so days of the training were rather intense. My training schedule combined with the departure of Wild Owl and just bringing my tablet with me for connectivity purposes has really impeded my publishing. I would like to take a moment to write about Wild Owl leaving for adventures in real life. I truly feel like I have lost a dear friend and a staunch ally.
One of the most poignant things about this game are the moments when a dear friend departs. Sometimes they publish they are going. Other times they just fade away. Either way the community is lessened in some way for the loss. Losing longtime friends or fixtures can be very hard, but in a way it also highlights what is good about this game: the community we have built around this game. If we did not care about the community we would feel nothing when people leave it.
August of 2013 I was a first time Party President of the Federalist Party, and Wild Owl was a first (he was possibly serving his second term in his first PP stint) time Party President of the United States Workers Party. We struck up a friendship and a partnership that lasts to this day. I’m not ashamed to say I was more than a little shaken and upset to see him go. I have had my share of both triumph and defeat during my eRepublik career, and I have experienced my share of emotional responses to this game. eRepublik is indeed just a game, but it is very capable of making the people who comprise its community feel very real emotions. Anger, sadness, jubilation, envy, greed, nationalism, friendship, charity, happiness, pride, etc are all not uncommon responses to interactions and goals set in this game. So many of us still care.
A month ago this was the concept I largely based my platform upon. I shared my belief that by giving every group a seat at the table it would give every group a sense of ownership. A month later I could not more strongly believe that this concept is working. I have enjoyed seeing cabinet members from Parties that do not historically get along work side by side. Similarly I have enjoyed seeing people who have not historically had the best of relationships work together for the good of their Departments and their nation. A good example is Aramec and Jefferson Locke. A little over a year ago those two (full disclosure I was also a participant in this) had an argument that ultimately resulted in them banning each other from their respective Party IRC channels. This month they have worked together near flawlessly. They have picked up the slack for one another when needed and charged full speed ahead in leading one of the most active domestic programs that I have ever seen. They have operated the Education and Interior Departments as one all month before recently announcing plans to merge the two New Player centric Departments into one entity.
Two years ago I was a somewhat different player than I am now. Roughly a year ago I began to change my play style a bit. People would ask me about it and of course want to know why. What has changed? They would ask or sometimes it would be a bit more rude: Why have you sold out? The answer is actually a fairly simple one. First I learned that if you want to succeed in some kind of lasting way you must take the time to build relationships. If you do not any success or gain will be unsustainable. Second I served in posts like Speaker of the House, Chief of Staff for the CP, and other Cabinet level jobs. I was given a seat at the table and I began to take ownership. Others might put a more cynical spin on my evolution as a player, but that doesn’t alter the truth of what happened and why.
Similarly I have enjoyed seeing the members of my Cabinet take ownership and become invested in the success of not just the Administration, but the nation. I very much believe in the team assembled last month. It is my hope that the fantastic group of players working in the Executive will produce a glut of fresh CP candidates. I count more than a half dozen potential future CPs working in my Administration. A month ago I put fresh faces in key places. State, Chief of Staff, and NSC all were players that were untested in those roles. I could not be more pleased with the results of those choices.
Nothing last forever. Prior to Wild Owl leaving I was planning on making very few cabinet changes. As I have previously stated I have been very happy with the performance of my Cabinet both as a whole and at the Individual Department level. However, losing my VP has created not one but two openings outright. Garmr my Secretary of Defense has chosen to join the Owl in retirement effective at the end of the term. I am saddened by this as well. Garmr has been more than competent and helpful, but has also been a source of levity and laughter. I will miss him as I suspect many others will as well. A third opening has been created by the shuffling I have done to cover these two losses.
Vice President:
Aramec has helped lead the resurgent domestic programs and publishing this last month. He has also been a Co-Host on eNPR. As aforementioned he and I have had difficulties in the past, but working together on projects and goals we both feel strongly about has closed the divide that once existed between us. Even though he is moving to VP he will still be involved in the Domestic work of our nation
Chief of Staff
MrCarey has been a first time Chief of Staff this month. He is organized, driven, and very effective. He has handled the pressure of managing a Cabinet with deft surety. I think he has the ability to go far in this game given his work ethic and talent. I am very happy he will be coming back in this role for a second term.
Secretary of State
eShades has been not just a first time Secretary of State but a first time member of the Executive Cabinet. He has handled the transition into this role very well. Wild Owl saw a great deal of potential and talent in him and so do. I am confident the eUSA will have its foreign affairs in very good hands with eShades.
NSC Co-Chairs
Henry William French and RaccoonGoon were also both first time Cabinet members. They have worked tirelessly near around the clock monitoring battles, and setting prios. In addition to this our communication between the Executive and the many MUs in our nation have been top notch in this term. They’ve been excellent while learning on the job. I know we can expect an even stronger performance from them in August
Secretary of Defense
Senryaku is a recent returnee to the game. He is very passionate about the USAF and the damage capabilities of the eUSA. He is smart, innovative, hard working, and has come highly recommended by Garmr our retiring SecDef. I have had several conversations with Senryaku about plans for the DoD and I am very excited to work with him.
Department of Citizen Affairs
Jaden A seemingly came out of nowhere to be a dynamite Dean of American University. She was one of the main forces behind the DoD’s new arrangement with the American University. With Aramec moving up and Locke nursing an illness she has agreed to step up into leading the newly merged Department of Citizen Affairs a department staffed by a small horde of talented individuals laboring diligently for the betterment of new players.
Secretary of Media
Derphoof will be returning as Secretary of Media and eNPR host. He has done a stellar job hosting eNPR which has done surprisingly well in attracting and keeping listeners. He’s poised to continue to bring you the news Derp style for another 30 days.
Press Secretary
SColbert has drawn rave reviews for his work in this role. He has near daily brought the nation the bullet points of Executive business, but also done it with style and flair. A great example is his recent what gossip girl are you theme. This led me to discover:
I have never seen an episode so I really do not know what that means! If you do not read his daily releases we do also publish them in the WHPR. It is worth a look.
In closing I just want to once again state how pleased and proud I am of my Executive Team. They have worked hard, sacrificed sleep, and given a great deal of their time and their talents for the betterment of country. With almost no exceptions they have worked well together in spite of how new they have been to their posts, and done so while working side by side with Parties and individuals they would traditionally have some amount of animosity towards. No matter the outcome of this upcoming election it has been an honor and a privilege to serve with them. That is all I have for now until next time America TB4CP!

This game is very much about emotion!
In your case it's about a power hungry self-centered incapable demagog, who makes false promises and sugarcoats his failures.
How's that exciting Summer in Europe working out for you, clown?
Blah blah blah Thor blah blah excuses blah blah coming in 3 - 2 - 1 ...
Lol, the press releases. ~_~ I read them all, so if you have any questions, that's a good spot to ask! And they're quite funny.
Garmr, JLo, WO. Man, it brings tears to my eyes. :'( Hopefully, Mr. Locke will return to us in one piece while WO/Garmr enjoy everything life has to offer.
P.S. I'll miss you guys. s2
Good picks in Aramec/Senry.
eShadesu-kun! aishiteru yo!

You're an idiot. Congrats you reported and banned profiles that joined after the July election. So there's no way they could have voted for me last time around. More than likely these were new players who took a look around thought no thanks and were on the thirty days count down to death regardless. Like I said Valiant Thor you're a useless troll who contributes nothing of value.
AHA!!! it's VT! I didnt realize that. Explains everything.
Stupid to accuse Tyler of multis. Any CP who has time for doing that crap isn't being CP.
Nice list though, bro. Perhaps you made it yourself just to up your troll factor?
Oh, it's DUMB & DUMBER xD
1. I didn't say ALL of them voted in the last CP elections, about a quarter of them did. You are sou illiterate that you can't comprehend one simple sentence - BRAVO!
2. Defending obvious permabenned multiaccounts as ''new players taking a look around'' shows how dumb you really are!
3. Reporting all this accounts and getting them banned is a contribution to a fair gameplay - something that is unknown to you and to all those ''friends'' of yours who are creating them, operating them and using them for improving the party-ranking of both of your parties and rigging the votes. But sure, both of you don't have a slightest idea of who is doing it behind your backs to help you out when votes for the pre-picked candidate are needed!
4. I know at least 2 CPs in the not so far past who operated/operate multifarms/bots. Failor Bubble is living in his tiny little universe being stupid, but Bozo-Gnil should stfu, because he even bragged about making and controlling more then one account!
Enough for all with at least a few braincells - I rest my case!
Oh, it's VT? That explains a lot.
Repeating BS of others - a dmj classic!
You seem to be a very frustrated young man.
Not at all. Bringing down the multi-hordes is fun 😃
hey, i helped report those too!
I like hentai.
Can confirm

Solid. You've always been a great player though Tyler and have my vote.
At least you have one first-timer in a Top Level Cabinet position.
who will uphold the grand legendary title of Secretary of Technology
we'll be keeping the incumbent in that spot.
You did a wonderful work in the past term. And with this amazing cabinet you will do it again
Good luck Tyler
Baaaa
Shut up, eShades!
Iznwi whatever... go home 😛
You both can kiss my shiny bottom LMAO
My vote for Tyler again 🙂
That’s not eshades, so STFU VT and go back to Serbia where your welcomed.
He has his eShades-lens on. A bit ironic, as I am a pair of lens.
