After the fourth week of my term I allowed myself to get so distracted that I didn’t actually write an article on Saturday like I planned. I’m going to touch on a couple of things and then just move on to what I really want to write about.



During week four I had quite a bit going on from the USAF to negotiation with other countries for Training Wars. I have been a very busy girl.

USAF

There was a huge transition within the USAF. All of this has been reviewed and discussed ad nauseum over the last week in both public congress and other media articles so I’m not going to rehash all of it. At the end of all of the drama that ensued I appointed Hale Kane as CO of the USAF. Hale, more than anyone else, deserves the chance to fix the issues within the USAF. I’ve seen some of what he’s done over the last couple of days and I am inspired.

Resource Wars

As you have already seen there is a lot going on on the battlefront as we start the process needed for the resource wars. There will be a few more coming in the next few days so pay close attention to shouts and battle orders as we will be working tirelessly to make sure you are fully up to speed on which battles need to be won and which need to be lost. It is very important for our bonuses that we all pay close attention to be sure we are fighting where we need to.



End of Term

I’m really not sure I can adequately put how amazing my cabinet has been this month. There really are very few words for how much I have valued each and every one of them. I really couldn’t have made it through this month without such a quality group of Cabinet members and advisors.

RaccoonGoon

The VP position is what the VP makes it. Raccoon had said when I picked him that he wanted to be more of an advisor than anything else and he filled that role perfectly. He kept me sane (well as sane as possible). I have never gotten such great (and lengthy) advice before. Him and I have been friends for a very long time. There are not enough words to thank you for how you helped me stay focused on what I really wanted. (even when I argued with you)

Dinnyin

You went above and beyond this month. You kept me from going crazy and handled my inability to get my thoughts out of my head wonderfully. Thank you for being a fabulous CoS and reading my mind when needed.

Wild Owl

I respected you quite a bit before this term but after having the opportunity to see you in action and watch your mind work, I am truly awe inspired. You are one of the true thinkers in this game and I am greatly impressed by who you are. Now get back to work and get us some great bonuses.

Yui and Resoula

These two make one of the best teams I have seen in the NSC position. I’m actually not sure what to say about these two. I was concerned a bit at first because they seem so very different but Resoula’s work ethic coupled with Yui’s unwillingness to update the in game thread seemed to work very well together. They both have skills that seem to compliment each other very well.

Delyruin and his Deputy KalosHoenn

I really haven’t mentioned any deputies up to this point but I wanted to single Kalos out. Dely ran into some computer issues this term just as things started really getting busy and Kalos has stepped up like a pro to keep orders updated and do what he can to help NSC. I have been very lucky to have him.

Joey3790 and James Schubert

You both did an amazing job keeping the WHPR going even when you had only a few submissions. Joey is a high quality writer that I see going very far in this field. I was enjoyed everything he wrote.

Jessina and Carhugar

Being involved with DoCA is normally a thankless job. No one really knows what you’ve done, if anything was done at all. That being said, I can say that I don’t remember a point where something wasn’t getting done. I rarely had to ask you for anything and that means quite a bit to me with how busy things got, so I extend extreme thanks to you both.

Walter

I gave you a really tough job and you really tried to work it. I know Real Life got in the way for you but I want you to know that you did well in the time frame you had. My hope is that this position continues and that the next CP adds people to help reach people in game.

Aramec

I have no words. Just thank you for everything. You are a true friend and an amazing writer.

I’m not going to list everyone that advised me during this month because that would take a whole article on its own. I am going to mention a couple that really spent time trying to help me make some good choices.

NewAzazel, GoalieBCSC, Josh Frost, Gnilraps

I owe each of you for the great advice you gave me that helped me make some tough decisions. All of you gave me different view points that allowed me to see the bigger picture of the problem I was facing. Thank you
