ladies and gentlemen!

Here I would like to present you a report of our meeting in Ukrainian Karpaty 3 weeks ago. Here is the article about our last so big meeting, that was awesome 😁

Our trip started in different citties, but we all went to Ivano-Frankovsk with one goal - to reach the top of Mount Hoverla!

Together with Motuzka we started out trip from Kharkiv through Kyiv, where we meet gudilka91, Sneik Powerful, vizavi, Vell 88, Felicimiento,Radiat. Then in Lviv we took Romix1994, IceFog72, ulmo-ulmo, CerezaR, Toxa 17.02. To Ivano-Frankivsk we arrived without incidents, except that one of us went to to movie "Mad Max," and Sneik Powerful wanted to join National Guard asap, but it didnt happened 🙂
There others joined our dream team and we went to Manyava.



Manyavsky monastery is an ensemble of stone and wooden buildings, fenced high walls with towers and battlements, which lies between the slopes of the mountains and bordered by the river Manyavka. There is a sacred place of healing spring water, burial Ivan Vyhovsky.

Way to Manyava Skete



Then we went to Maniava waterfall with our excellent guide chrono - Chronographerа.



Don’t know exactly how many kilometers and hours we was walking - the time flashed quickly. During all way we saw beautiful scenery - mountains, streams, rivers and forest 😁













We paved our way through streams by jumping over the stones. My flip-flops survived after this transition! 🙂

In this sunny day no one rejected propositions to swim in the waterfall.





Despite fairly cool water that fell to us from 18m. the feeling was wonderful! 🙂

The way back was faster. A little tired, hungry, but happy boarded the bus and started singing Ukrainian songs (clickable and awesome). Becausr it was lte, nearly crushed several cows, stop to "bite" and eating local beer "Banderovskoe" we decided to postpone the trip to Bukovel on Saturday. So we immediately went to the hotel. Settled in small, but comfortable rooms. During waiting for dinner staged amateur match with ping-pong.

After dinner we went to the club "Drova". In the club some of us get lost (there's a insidious exit). After some searching finally stumbled upon one of our who went to look for them. Then in 5am in the courtyard of the hotel we started talked, while not giving sleep Kombat89 (revenging of the anthem of shakhtar). Next Radiat wake up gudilka and Kombat89 with ice water.

6 am

Around 6 am we boarded the bus in the direction of the base Zaroslyak.

Along the way, we meet Kitty kat. A couple of kilometers before reaching the base, the bus broke down.

Start climbing and reaching Hoverla Mount was promising.






We were divided into two groups. One - (Nimets with his wife, Pitcity, Radiat, vizavi, Felicimiento, Toumpaneiros(Nelester), Romix1994, Orestius777, IceFog72, Sneik Powerful, Kombat89, Grishazahid, Babenko, Kitti-Ket), and two -(Izjaslav, I, Motuzka, gudilka91, Chronographerr, Vadim Glushko, ulmo-ulmo, Radion with his girl Natalia, Vell 88, CerezaR).




As it turned out really - I do not know, climbing was still physically resilient and tedious. Perhaps each discovered something new in itself, something proved especially ourselves, to others. And some revealed truth - never "plump" before getting Goverlu.
We started out trip in forest, but already used all water supply. Then, under the blazing sun we clambered up, up and up ... And the path is not ended .. and when I saw far fluttering yellow-blue flag it gave me a second wind. But as it turned out on top is that it’s just a small Hoverla and it;s still 700m to go…

They reached the blue trail faster and was relaxing when we got at the top of Hoverla. I’m first time in Hoverla and views is amazing. Once satisfied that we have a beautiful country.

And all began to gather on the overall picture, but as we noticed later not all was there 🙁 So we have to meet again, climb up and take a new photo 🙂

We never remembered what kind of slyboots came up with idea to go to “Nesamovyte” lake through the mountain ridge and then return back to base. Many of us, including me, later regretted about it, but only now I finally understood that had been actually the best idea in the entire trip. Quite likely I won’t handle this trip for the second time, but surely the impressions and feelings we experienced would last in our memories for our entire lives.
Going downhill seemed to be simpler, but after we reached the first “plain” and observed the next “five tops” waiting for us to be overcome, we realized it might have been a wrong idea, because it could be too much challenge for us, but point of no return was breached and we had no other choice except going further.

On our way to the lake, when we made stops for rest, some of us just lied down on the ground and told they would stay here and never come home. These “optimistic” mood definitely didn’t make the route any shorter.

…And we keep on moving. But at the moment we lost any hope of making it, we’ve finally seen the signs of our final destination, the “promise land” or rather “the promise lake Nesamovyte”

Everybody instantly speeded up, and ran towards the source to refill the water stock. Few went to swim, despite the fat it was forbidden both by official laws and people’s superstitions: they say you can anger the weather if defile the clear waters of the lake with your sinful body. Some people took off the clothes to get sunburnt, and others, after expressing their satisfaction with the fact they mustn’t walk any further(generously filling their “happiness speech” with foul language) finally got their chance to sleep and rest.

We had 7 more kilometers left to reach the base, and we depleted the last drops of our strength to finally reach the finish, sit on the bench, have a cold drink and share our impressions. Our trip was 20 km long, but judging on our feelings it looked more like 40km, any I believe most people involved in this march of glory would agree with me 🙂

There was no time to visit Bukovel, so we decided to go on Sunday in the morning. And as Sneik Powerful wanted "barbecue" we had to go and look for it) Fortunately we quickly foun it. It was very delicious, thanks to Nelester and Babenko.

Then was interesting when after a relaxing somebody asked to go to the club (3km! and it’s after Hovelra!). All quickly smoke and went to bed. Only me, motuzka, sneik and gudilka was ready to dance. I had to go and wake up kombat .. and others.... With this company we were walking until 5 am, drunk and danced.

On the second day we finally went to Bukovel, who fled to the lake Molodyst, who at the cableway, and some was felaxing after the club…

After the market in Yaremche at 3am we were in Ivano-Frankivsk. Some sat on the train, others went to the city. Went to the "Fountain", were at the church and town hall, went to the "Arsenal".

Then Radiat conducted guys from Kyiv to the train. Iziaslav with his brother and his girlfriend, Babenko, Kitty Kat, Nimets and his wife went to the restaurant Grotto, then Radiat joined them, toxa and kombat. the last ones returned to the station, the rest went to the Bandera monument, then to the train.
